Token Activation FAQ

1. Why do some tokens need to be activated?

MEXC supports transfers of tokens across different mainnets. Due to differences between mainnets, some tokens must be activated in the receiving wallet before they can be transferred from MEXC. Otherwise, the transfer may fail.

2. How can I check whether my token address is activated?

When you withdraw tokens from MEXC, the system automatically checks whether the token address is activated. If it is not activated, you will see "The address is not available for transfers as it has not been activated" or a similar message during the withdrawal process.

3. What should I do if the address is not activated?

If you see "The address is not available for transfers as it has not been activated" or a similar message when you withdraw a token, the receiving address has not been activated.

Activation procedures vary by wallet and platform. Please contact the customer service of the wallet or platform associated with the address to confirm how to activate it.

You can also use a block explorer to check whether the address is activated. However, the specific activation process should follow the instructions provided by the wallet or platform associated with the address.
