Regretting You, the film adaptation of acclaimed romance author Colleen Hoover’s beloved 2019 novel, is now streaming just one month after its theatrical debut. If you’re planning a cozy movie night at home, read on to learn how to rent or purchase the film.
The coming-of-age drama stars Allison Williams as Morgan Grant, a young mother who puts her dreams on hold to raise her 16-year-old daughter, Clara (McKenna Grace), who couldn’t be more different from her. After a tragic accident claims the lives of the two people close to them, Morgan and Clara are forced to pick up the pieces and heal together.
“When Clara’s world turns upside down, the last thing she expects is love but then Miller changes everything,” the synopsis reads. “With his quiet strength and steady warmth, he helps her rediscover joy in the middle of the chaos. A tender tale of first love, second chances, and the kind of connection that makes everything brighter.”
The cast also includes Dave Franco, Mason Thames, Scott Eastwood, Willa Fitzgerald, Clancy Brown, Sam Morelos and Ethan Costanilla. The film is directed by Josh Boone from a screenplay by Susan McMartin. Hoover also serves as an executive producer.
Regretting You is the second film adaptation from Hoover, following 2024’s It Ends With Us, which has been overshadowed by controversy amid co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s ongoing legal battle. While Regretting You doesn’t come with the same off-screen drama, it performed significantly lower at the box office, earning $87 million worldwide compared to It Ends With Us’ $351 million global haul.
Hoover’s upcoming adaptations include Universal’s Reminders of Him (premiering March 13, 2026) and Amazon MGM Studios’ Verity, the Anne Hathaway–Dakota Johnson–Josh Hartnett feature film, debuting on Oct. 2, 2026.

You can purchase Regretting You for $19.99 or rent the film $14.99 (or $5.99 on Prime Video). For rentals, you have 30 days to start watching the video and 48 hours to finish once started.

Which Streaming Service Will Regretting You Land On?

In addition to the film’s digital release, Regretting You will eventually be streaming on Paramount+, the official streaming platform of the movie’s distributor, Paramount Pictures.
When Will Regretting You Be Available to Stream on Paramount+?
Regretting You will likely arrive on Paramount+ approximately two to three months after its theatrical release, around December 2025 or January 2026.
For reference, Paramount’s Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning became available on the platform almost three months after its theatrical debut. Gladiator II had a shorter streaming window, landing on the service exactly two months later; the same was the case for A Quiet Place: Day One (2024).
