Finance Expert Spots XRP Super Cycle, Presents Evidence You Can’t Ignore

As the cryptocurrency market continues to search for its next major catalyst, some commentators believe the industry’s most significant phase of growth has yet to arrive.

Among them is crypto commentator Digital Asset Investor, who recently shared his conviction that XRP could be at the center of what he described as a coming “super cycle.”

In a post on X titled, “XRP Super Cycle: The Evidence You Can’t Ignore,” Digital Asset Investor attached a video outlining why he believes XRP holders may be approaching a pivotal period. His argument drew attention to remarks previously made by Binance co-founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao regarding a possible crypto supercycle.

CZ’s Earlier Comments Form Part of the Argument

Digital Asset Investor directed viewers to Changpeng Zhao‘s comment, noting that the Binance founder had once suggested that 2026 could become a supercycle for cryptocurrencies.

In the clip, Changpeng Zhao acknowledged that predictions in the cryptocurrency market remain uncertain and reiterated that he generally avoids making definitive forecasts.

Addressing market conditions, Changpeng Zhao noted that Bitcoin had experienced significant fluctuations and had returned to previous price levels after periods of recovery. He acknowledged that current conditions would not qualify as a super cycle.

“First of all, 2026 is not over,” Changpeng Zhao said. “But based on the price performance today, Bitcoin is at $60,000 again. It came back to $60,000, went to $80,000, came back down to $60,000. We’ll call this a winter. We’re not in a super cycle now.”

Despite that assessment, Changpeng Zhao maintained confidence in the long-term outlook for digital assets.

“Will crypto die? Absolutely not. Crypto will continue to grow. So I think the super cycle will come. I’m not sure when it will come,” he said.

Why Digital Asset Investor Believes XRP Will Lead

After highlighting Changpeng Zhao’s comments, Digital Asset Investor made it clear that his expectations extend beyond Bitcoin and the broader crypto market.

“I believe it’s going to be an XRP super cycle above all,” he said. “We’re going to talk about that. I’ll go in detail into what I’m talking about in the video.”

His remarks reflected a view held by some XRP supporters who believe the digital asset could outperform much of the market during the next major expansion phase.

The post also drew reactions from members of the XRP community. One user, Scoop, expressed frustration with XRP’s prolonged periods of consolidation, writing, “XRP should practice how to do a moon run up nonstop. It’s been almost a decade, enough of short breaks.”

While opinions remain divided over when the next major market cycle may begin, Digital Asset Investor’s latest message leaves little doubt about where he believes the strongest opportunity lies: an XRP-led super cycle.
