While Olivia Dean and Lola Young led the nominations for the 2026 BRIT Awards with five apiece, it was the neo-soul songbird who came out on top, sweeping in each of her categories for the U.K.’s biggest night in music.
Following her Best New Artist win at the 2026 Grammy Awards, Olivia Dean secured four trophies at the BRIT Awards 2026 that took place at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester, England. The 26-year-old won British Artist Of The Year, British Pop Act, British Album Of The Year for her sophomore breakout The Art of Love, and British Song Of The Year for her Sam Fender collaboration “Rein Me In” — Dean was competing against herself in Song of the Year with her chart-topping single “Man I Need” also nominated.
In addition to Song of the Year, 31-year-old rock act Fender was the second-most awarded artist for the night, taking home British Alternative/Rock Act over Lola Young, Wolf Alice, Blood Orange and Wet Leg.
Lola Young did not go home empty-handed, winning the British Breakthrough Artist. Other big names from around the world like Bruno Mars, Wolf Alice, Skepta, Rosé, Rosalía, and Fred Again.. were all also winners at the 2026 BRITs.
In an exciting bit of history, PinkPantheress’ win for Producer of the Year made her the first woman to ever receive the award since its introduction in 1977. At 24-years-old, the “Stateside” star is also the youngest winner ever.
Elsewhere, super-producer Mark Ronson was recognized with the Outstanding Contribution to Music award. The late Ozzy Osbourne was also recognized in the outstanding contribution category with a Lifetime Achievement Award that was presented by Dolly Parton.
