The next Shuffle token (SHFL) airdrop has been announced, with a tentative date of March 7, 2026, for when SHFL holders can expect the event.
This airdrop will be different from the first two. Instead of a one-time event, there will be weekly airdrops taking place throughout the year.
Noah Dummett, Shuffle’s co-founder and the visual face of the brand, made the announcement on X this week, writing, “Indicative date for the start of the new Airdrops campaign: 7th March.”
According to the Airdrop Campaigns article in the SHFL token documentation, the third SHFL airdrop will contain 9% of the total SHFL supply.
An airdrop is a marketing strategy where a blockchain project sends free tokens to users’ digital wallets. It is used to jumpstart a new ecosystem by turning thousands of random users into “stakeholders” who now have a financial interest in the project’s success.

Shuffle is giving away 28% of all SHFL tokens to its players across its three airdrops.
Shuffle’s airdrop strategy utilizes a ‘Play-to-Earn’ model. While the amount of tokens you get is based on your past play, the speed at which you actually receive them is based on your current activity.
Because activity for the final Shuffle airdrop is currently being tracked (with exact launch dates yet to be set in stone), new players still have time to create an account, wager on the platform, and secure their spot in the upcoming campaign.
In their own words, Shuffle describes the new airdrop as: “fundamentally different from the first two iterations of our Airdrop program, with a radical new design. This design will focus on doing what we do best, giving back to the best users.”
For previous airdrops, if you verified your identity (KYC) on the gambling site, Shuffle gave an extra 10% bonus of tokens that you could claim immediately without waiting. It is not clear if that rule will apply to the new airdrop.
The announcement was not without some controversy. One SHFL holder responded with frustration to the fact that the airdrop will take place over a year.
He responded to Dummett’s announcement, asking how “3 airdrops have turned into 54?”
Dummett responded to this user, saying:
“I would invite you to create your own casino, and your own token, and you’ll see why it’s very necessary to evolve when new data is made available to you.”
We do not yet have specific information about the launch date for this new airdrop. There are a few ways you can keep up to date with it, however:
