Brevis and BNB Chain Plan ZK Privacy Pool Launch in Q1 2026

Brevis and BNB Chain expand collaboration by launching a compliant zero-knowledge privacy pool, enabling secure transactions without revealing sensitive user data.

Brevis and BNB Chain announced plans to launch a new privacy infrastructure initiative in Q1 2026. The project centers on an Intelligent Privacy Pool, which is founded on BNB Chain. This initiative is to work on modernizing blockchain privacy while keeping compliance and transparency requirements intact.

Brevis and BNB Chain Expand Privacy Infrastructure Collaboration

The partners are collaborating with privacy protocol developer 0xbow on the new solution. This pool is based on 0xbow’s current Privacy Pools framework. However, it provides advanced zero-knowledge eligibility checks for better privacy control and compliance assurance.

According to the announcement, users will check eligibility without having to disclose transaction details or their identities. This approach helps to address the regulatory issues with previous privacy tools.

Earlier privacy solutions, such as Tornado Cash, primarily concentrated on transaction obfuscation. In contrast, the new model comes with privacy features that can be configured and are intelligent.

Brevis said modern zero-knowledge systems have privacy in multiple dimensions. These dimensions consist of transaction data, user attributes, and computation processes. As a result, privacy mechanisms can be adapted to different applications and participants.

Furthermore, the project sets out clear unmasking protocols on how information can be revealed. Access control defines who can access privacy functionality and under what circumstances.

Users will demonstrate eligibility through two main verifications within the pool. The first path is based on onchain provenance verification. The Brevis ZK Data Coprocessor verifies fund history without exposing sensitive transaction details.

off-chainnd path provides for offchain verification using zkTLS technology. Through this method, users are able to bind verified exchange accounts without disclosing identities. Therefore, offchain compliance checks have a smooth integration with on-chain privacy mechanisms.

ZK-Based Privacy Pools Enable New Blockchain Use Cases

These combined methods enable compliant private transactions on BNB Chain. Moreover, users can prove the legitimacy of funds without having to share wallet histories. This capability addresses long-standing concerns from regulators and centralized platforms.

The Intelligent Privacy Pool also allows the private verification of credentials, without exposing the wallet. Further, transactions can be gated by verified associations or credentials.

Other suggested applications are prediction markets based on private algorithms. These markets can have verifiable output without disclosing the internal logic.

Brevis stressed that these capabilities had been impossible using first-generation privacy tools. Modern zero-knowledge systems greatly increase the functional possibilities. Therefore, blockchain privacy is now a tool for innovation and no longer a means of limiting participation.

The collaboration speaks to BNB Chain’s overall focus on scalable and compliant infrastructure. The network has prioritized performance and adoption among developers. Integrating privacy solutions helps build its competitiveness in decentralized finance markets.

According to Brevis, the initiative shows a change in the interpretation of privacy. Privacy is no longer secretiveness alone. Instead, it achieves a balance between confidentiality, verification and accountability by using cryptographic proofs.

The companies confirmed the launch window planned for Q1 2026. No user limits or transaction caps were revealed at this point. However, more technical details are to be expected before public deployment.

Brevis gave out first details via its official communication channels. BNB Chain also recognized the partnership with ecosystem updates. Additionally, 0xbow had its role in technology integration confirmed.

Overall, the Intelligent Privacy Pool is a next-generation approach. It is a combination of zero-knowledge proofs, interoperability, and compliance readiness. Therefore, Brevis and BNB Chain are at the cutting edge of privacy innovation.

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

The post Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. In this week’s edition of InnovationRx, we look at possible pain treatments from cannabis, risks of new vaccine restrictions, virtual clinical trials at the Mayo Clinic, GSK’s $30 billion U.S. manufacturing commitment, and more. To get it in your inbox, subscribe here. Despite their addictive nature, opioids continue to be a major treatment for pain due to a lack of effective alternatives. In an effort to boost new drugs, the FDA released new guidelines for non-opioid painkillers last week. But making these drugs hasn’t been easy. Vertex Pharmaceuticals received FDA approval for its non-opioid Journavx in January, then abandoned a next generation drug after a failed clinical trial earlier this summer. Acadia similarly abandoned a promising candidate after a failed trial in 2022. One possible basis for non-opioids might be cannabis. Earlier this year, researchers at Washington University at St. Louis and Stanford published a study showing that a cannabis-derived compound successfully eased pain in mice with minimal side effects. Munich-based pharmaceutical company Vertanical is perhaps the furthest along in this quest. It is developing a cannabinoid-based extract to treat chronic pain it hopes will soon become an approved medicine, first in the European Union and eventually in the United States. The drug, currently called Ver-01, packs enough low levels of cannabinoids (including THC) to relieve pain, but not so much that patients get high. Founder Clemens Fischer, a 50-year-old medical doctor and serial pharmaceutical and supplement entrepreneur, hopes it will become the first cannabis-based painkiller prescribed by physicians and covered by insurance. Fischer founded Vertanical, with his business partner Madlena Hohlefelder, in 2017, and has invested more than $250 million of his own money in it. With a cannabis cultivation site and drug manufacturing plant in Denmark, Vertanical has successfully passed phase III clinical trials in Germany and expects…
