Solana Price Prediction: SOL Defends Critical Support, but Another Altcoin Dominates January Momentum

January has been packed with fresh Solana news as traders watch SOL cling to a key support zone and update every new Solana price prediction. ETF inflows, hackathon headlines, and technical breakouts are all feeding short-term excitement. At the same time, a different story is building under the surface. A PayFi altcoin called Remittix is taking more of the serious conversation about real-world payments after raising over 28.8 million dollars through the sale of more than 700 million RTX tokens at 0.123 dollars each.

For many investors, Solana still leads the smart contract race, but the crypto market is also searching for the best crypto to buy now in global payments. That is where PayFi and new cryptocurrency projects built for everyday money flows enter the picture.

Solana Price Prediction: What The Latest Solana News Really Shows

Source: TradingView

Traders building a Solana price prediction for January are focused on one question. Can SOL keep defending the area around the 50-day EMA and push higher, or will bulls lose energy at resistance near 144 dollars? Recent Solana news has been encouraging. SOL briefly tapped $144, now trades around $139, and has climbed back above the 50-day EMA at $136. On top of that, Solana-themed ETFs reported more than 41 million dollars of inflows last week, the eighth week in a row, which is a strong sign of growing crypto adoption among bigger players.

Analysts like Crypto King point to this Solana news and call for a move toward $160 if momentum continues. In their base Solana price prediction, a daily close above 144 opens the door to $150 and possibly $159, as long as RSI stays above 50 and MACD holds its bullish cross. These are the kinds of signals that keep SOL on lists of high-growth digital assets and best DeFi projects 2025 for traders who love fast networks and deep on-chain liquidity.

There is still a cautious Solana price prediction on the table. If new Solana news turns negative or ETF inflows cool, bears could push the price back under the 50-day EMA and even toward the December low around $116. That is why every headline about the privacy-focused hackathon, new blockchain technology tools, and stronger Web3 applications matters so much.

Short term, SOL remains one of the most closely watched altcoins, with each new Solana news update shaping risk levels for traders and funds. Long term, however, many investors want more than chart action. They want crypto with real utility that can stand beside Solana in payments and remittances.

Remittix PayFi: Where Real People Feel The Difference

While traders argue over every new Solana price prediction, Remittix is quietly building the part of crypto that normal people actually feel in their lives. This is not just another chart token. Remittix is a PayFi project built so that a nurse sending money home, a designer billing a client overseas, or a small shop taking online orders can move money quickly without fighting slow banks and hidden fees. It has already raised more than 28.8 million dollars through the sale of over 700 million RTX tokens at 0.123 dollars each, which shows that investors are backing more than an idea. They are backing a working product that is already in people’s hands.

The Remittix wallet is live on the Apple App Store, and an Android version for Google Play is coming next. Users can already store and send funds with a clean interface, while all the complex decentralized finance tools work in the background. The big step comes on 9 February 2026, when the crypto-to-fiat PayFi platform goes live.

From that point, people will be able to send value on low-fee rails and have it land in local bank accounts, turning crypto from a trading asset into a real payments tool. At the same time, there is a limited time window where only a few tokens are left to claim a 200 percent allocation boost using the promo code RTX2026, which is pulling in investors who want to be positioned before the PayFi switch is turned on.

Why Remittix is getting serious buyer attention:

  • Live wallet on the Apple App Store already handling real remittances and day to day transfers
  • PayFi platform launching on 9 February 2026 to connect crypto balances directly to bank accounts
  • Android rollout planned so users in key growth regions can access PayFi from any smartphone
  • Built to help freelancers, remote workers and small businesses get paid faster with low gas fee crypto
  • Fully audited by CertiK with a verified team, giving confidence to long term crypto investors
  • Confirmed listings on major centralized exchanges like BitMart and LBank to support deep, global liquidity

Put simply, Solana gives builders a fast highway. Remittix puts cars and people on that highway. For readers who are tired of tokens that only move inside trading apps, RTX offers something different.

From Solana Support To PayFi Leadership In 2026

Going into the rest of 2026, traders will still refresh charts and argue over each new Solana price prediction as fresh Solana news hits the feeds. Solana looks set to remain a core smart contract and Web3 platform for builders and funds. But the bigger shift inside the crypto market is toward projects that help normal people pay rent, support family, and get paid across borders.

In that race, Remittix is starting to look like the altcoin that can turn fast networks and blockchain technology into everyday value. For investors building a list of the best crypto to buy now, pairing SOL’s speed with RTX’s PayFi focus may be one of the most balanced ways to capture both smart contract innovation and real-world money movement in this cycle.

FAQs

1. Why is PayFi becoming a major crypto trend in the global crypto market?

PayFi is growing because it links cryptocurrency to real payments people make every day. As crypto adoption rises, digital assets with clear utility are winning more attention. That shift improves market sentiment for projects that build real liquidity and user demand. It is a leading force behind current crypto trends in both bull and bear market phases.

2. What does Solana news suggest about SOL and on-chain activity right now?

Recent Solana news points to strong on-chain activity and steady demand from crypto investors. SOL is supported by fast smart contracts and growing decentralized applications in Web3. The network’s low fees help liquidity move quickly across DeFi and DEX markets. Institutional adoption is also rising as crypto exchanges expand SOL products and access. That mix keeps Solana price prediction discussions active despite market volatility.

3. Why are crypto investors paying attention to Remittix right now?

Crypto investors are watching Remittix because it targets everyday payments, not just trading. The PayFi focus supports crypto adoption by making digital assets easier to use in real life. Audited smart contracts, clear tokenomics, and rising liquidity improve trust in the project. It fits decentralized finance DeFi growth while keeping the user experience simple. That is why many see it as a strong digital asset as the crypto market evolves.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
