El equipo monarca del futbol mundial sub 17 celebró su corona bajo el cobijo del Khalifa International Stadium de Qatar. Portugal acabó con los castillos de Austria, país que enmarcó su primera final en un torneo internacional de futbol, de cualquier categoría.

Un gol de Anísio Cabral bastó para el 1-0 del título, el primero en la historia de Lisboa en la categoría.

El delantero del Benfica anotó a los 32 minutos. Fue su séptimo tanto en el certamen, quedando apenas detrás de Johannes Moser (Austria), quien se llevó la Bota de Oro con ocho goles.

El país lusitano tiene una proyección a futuro con esta generación de jugadores que aún tienen como referencia a su estrella Cristiano Ronaldo, para soñar en grande y a largo plazo. La última vez que Portugal disputó un Mundial sub 17 fue en el 2003, cuando CR7 estaba por despegar al estrellato.

La nueva generación de 'ouro' acaba también de conquistar el campeonato Europeo.

“Me siento muy orgulloso de entrenar a estos jugadores. Fue un camino difícil, pero de mucho crecimiento, tanto para ellos como para mí. Tras la gran actuación que tuvimos en la Eurocopa, ganar el Mundial es fantástico. Los felicito por todo lo que han hecho, por todo lo que le han dado al país y al fútbol portugués”, dijo Bino, entrenador de Portugal.

La nueva generación portuguesa levanta la mano de promesa competitiva, con los dorsales de Hurtado, Quintas, Cunha, Mide o Anisio.

“Somos una generación con mucha calidad, no solo los jugadores que están aquí, también los que podrían estar y no están. Esto dice mucho de la calidad del fútbol portugués”, subrayó el defensa Martim Chelmik.

La selección dirigida por Bino - Manuel Albino Morin- tuvo en su recorrido rumbo a la corona mundial, un triunfo sobre México en octavos de final, donde se impuso por 5-0.

Available since October 13, 2025, these options will allow traders to hedge and manage exposure to two of the most widely traded digital assets in the market. The new contracts come in both full-size and micro-size formats, with expiration options available daily, monthly, and quarterly, providing flexibility for a diverse range of market participants. This expansion aligns with the rising demand for innovative products in the crypto space. Giovanni Vicioso, CME Group’s Global Head of Cryptocurrency Products, noted that the new options offer increased flexibility for traders, from institutions to active individual investors. The growing liquidity in Solana and XRP futures has made the introduction of these options a timely move to meet the needs of an expanding market. The average daily open interest (ADOI) hit 12,500 contracts, worth $895 million. Similarly, XRP futures, which launched in May 2025, have seen significant adoption, with over 370,000 contracts traded, totaling $16.2 billion. XRP futures also set records in August 2025, with an ADV of 6,600 contracts valued at $385 million and a record ADOI of 9,300 contracts, worth $942 million. Institutional Demand for Advanced Hedging Tools CME Group’s expansion into options is a direct response to growing institutional interest in sophisticated cryptocurrency products.
