PETALING JAYA: UST, an AI and technology transformation solutions company, has forged an alliance with Anthropic, the firm behind the AI generative assistant Claude.
The objective of the partnership is to help the world’s 1,000 largest publicly trade companies, known as Global 1000, become AI-native.
Under the partnership, UST will embed Claude into the engineering environments and operational workflows it designs, builds, and runs for its clients.
Companies in the healthcare, telecommunications, and banking sectors are among those that will have UST integrate Claude into their systems.
UST also plans to have up to 20,000 associates, ranging from architects and engineers to consultants and industry specialists, in its team to guide clients “to think, build, and solve problems every day”.
UST’s CEO Krishna Sudheendra said its partnership with Anthropic reflects the company’s unwavering commitment to helping clients navigate the AI landscape with confidence and achieve meaningful business outcomes.
“By combining Claude’s capabilities with UST’s engineering, industry knowledge, and delivery expertise, we are bringing to market industry-specific platforms and digital and engineering solutions that improve productivity, accelerate business outcomes, and help clients operationalise AI-led decisions in a secure environment.”
Anthropic’s chief commercial officer Paul Smith said that UST helps the world’s banks, telecoms, and manufacturers put new technology to work.
“They’re proving Claude’s (capabilities) inside their own engineering first, training 20,000 of their own people on it, before bringing it into the systems they build and run for clients,” he added.
