As Congress continues to press the White House for greater transparency on the Epstein files, previously unreleased, handwritten notes from FBI agents are shedding new light on the relationship between notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and President Donald Trump.

The 30 notes were derived from a series of 2019 interviews with a woman who claimed to have traveled with Epstein when she was a teen, alleging that during one trip, she was sexually assaulted by Trump. The White House has denied the allegations.

While much of the content of the handwritten notes was later transcribed into official summaries called 302s, the Post and Courier compared them and found that many details had not made it into the formal documents.

The woman, for example, provided the names of four young teenage girls who were at a pool party attended by Epstein. Their names are not included in or were redacted from the Epstein files that were released, and at least one says that she was never contacted by the FBI, even though she may be a corroborating witness to Epstein’s activities.

The notes also include clarifying information about the woman’s introduction to and interactions with the future president. While in the official 302s, the details are unclear about her travels with Epstein. They do note that along the way, “she was introduced to someone with money, money, money…It was Donald Trump.” However, the handwritten notes are much clearer about the fact that Epstein “drove her and flew her” to New York and New Jersey to introduce her to Trump, who she says forcefully assaulted her.

If true, this would constitute not only sexual assault but sex trafficking.

The notes also contain details such as the name of a hotel where the woman and her friends would hang out at the pool as teens, and where Epstein came to pick her up. While one of the alleged victim’s friends says she does not remember any “creepiness,” another had actively tried to help the victim recover repressed memories regarding Epstein, and once called the FBI tipline to offer what she knew about Epstein and Trump.

These details come amidst questions about whether the Department of Justice has illegally withheld Epstein documents, as well as the firing of Pam Bondi as Attorney General. Some have claimed that she was fired over Trump’s frustration at her inability to apply an effective cover-up, suggesting that her dismissal may have been an attempt to avoid her testimony at a Congressional deposition on the Epstein files later in April.

“Pam Bondi and Donald Trump may think her firing gets her out of testifying to the oversight committee,” Robert Garcia, the ranking member of the House oversight committee, said in a statement after her firing. “They are wrong — and we look forward to hearing from her under oath.”
