PANews reported on March 20th that, according to Decrypt , Google's security team disclosed an iOS exploit chain called DarkSword, affecting unpatched iPhones running iOS versions 18.4 to 18.7 . Users who visit malicious or compromised websites may have their devices infected with the Ghostblade malware. This program actively scans for exchange applications such as Coinbase , Binance , Kraken , Kucoin , OKX , and MEXC, as well as wallets like Ledger , Trezor , MetaMask , Exodus , Uniswap , Phantom , and Gnosis Safe. It also steals SMS messages, iMessages, call logs, contacts, Wi-Fi passwords, Safari cookies and browsing history, geolocation, health data, photos, saved passwords, and Telegram and WhatsApp chat logs. The report states that attackers in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Malaysia, and Ukraine have exploited this vulnerability chain, with some attacks targeting government websites.
