PANews reported on March 5th that, according to CoinGlass data, as trading sentiment in the crypto market recovers, the open interest in BTC and ETH futures contracts continues to expand.
The current total open interest in BTC futures contracts across all exchanges is approximately 687,800 BTC, a 9.83% increase in the last 24 hours. Specifically, Binance holds approximately 125,600 BTC, CME approximately 113,900 BTC, and Gate approximately 67,500 BTC, a 13.16% increase year-over-year in the last 24 hours.
In the ETH futures market, total open interest across the network is approximately 13.47 million ETH, a 24-hour increase of 11.63%. Among them, Binance holds approximately 2.91 million ETH, CME holds approximately 1.85 million ETH, and Gate holds approximately 1.37 million ETH.
