PANews reported on August 29th that BitMine announced on Twitter that Alamosa Holdings founder David Sharbutt has been elected to the BitMine board of directors. David Sharbutt was one of the earliest wireless service entrepreneurs, building Alamosa PCS into a multi-billion dollar subsidiary of Sprint PCS. He also served for 17 years as a director of American Tower Corporation, one of the largest real estate investment trusts in the United States.
