White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt declared that President Donald Trump's anti-immigration crackdown in Minnesota was a "resounding success" despite the deaths of U.S. citizens Renee Good and Alex Pretti.

During a Friday interview on Fox News, Leavitt slammed Democrats for a partial government shutdown after the administration refused to meet demands to rein in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) tactics.

"It's unacceptable to President Trump and the White House," Leavitt claimed. "We've made every good faith effort to try to keep the government open."

"And of course, the brave men and women of both ICE and CBP will also go without pay unless we can find a way with the One Big Beautiful Bill funding to get them the money they need so we can continue the important work they are doing to remove violent predators from our nation's communities, which is something the American people want to see happen," she continued.

Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt noted that Democrats were "celebrating when Tom Homan announced that he was going to pull down the immigration operations in Minnesota."

"Well, Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota has been a resounding success," Leavitt claimed. "It has resulted in the detention and deportation of more than 4,000 illegal alien criminals. Let me repeat, 4,000 illegal alien criminals just from Minnesota alone."

"And while the surge is coming to an end, immigration enforcement in Minnesota absolutely will not," she added.

According to an NBC poll, 60% of Americans disapproved of how Trump was handling border security after the killing of Good and Pretti. Those who strongly disapprove rose from 39% last April to 49%.

Six in 10 Americans told a new AP-NORC poll that Trump had "gone too far" in sending federal agents into U.S. cities.

Is Patrick Schwarzenegger In ‘Gen V’ Season 2? Why He Doesn’t Return

The post Is Patrick Schwarzenegger In ‘Gen V’ Season 2? Why He Doesn’t Return appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Patrick Schwarzenegger as Luke Riordan/Golden Boy and Maddie Phillips as Cate Dunlap on season one of “Gen V.” Brooke Palmer/Prime Video Warning: Spoilers ahead for season two, episodes one through three of Gen V. Gen V is back for season two, and fans of Patrick Schwarzenegger’s Golden Boy might be disappointed to learn that he’s not part of the latest installment. Schwarzenegger starred as Luke Riordan/Golden Boy, the No.1 student at Godolkin University, on season one of the college-set spinoff of The Boys. His powers included manipulating fire, engulfing his body in flames, superhuman strength and flying. He had a promising future ahead of him and was even poised to be part of the premier supe group known as The Seven. But in a twist, at the end of the first episode, Luke flamed up and flew into the sky, committing suicide by using his powers and exploding. Still, Schwarzenegger appeared throughout the remainder of the season in flashbacks, a video message, his younger brother Sam Riordan’s (Asa Germann) hallucinations and in Cate Dunlap’s (Maddie Phillips) memories during episode six. It’s natural to wonder if Schwarzenegger would reprise the role in some capacity in season two, but the actor already explained why fans wouldn’t see him this time around.
