InterLink Advances Quantum-Resistant Blockchain Security

InterLink, a well-established blockchain infrastructure provider, has announced the development of a quantum-resistant blockchain designed to protect digital assets against future technological threats. The company indicated that this initiative is intended to address one of the most significant long-term risks facing the blockchain industry. Through an official disclosure on social media, InterLink conveyed that the project reflects a long-range strategic vision rather than a short-term response to market trends.

While many blockchain and cryptocurrency projects continue to prioritize transaction speed, scalability, or near-term adoption incentives, InterLink has emphasized the importance of preparing for challenges that may emerge decades from now. The company views quantum computing as a fundamental risk that could undermine the cryptographic foundations of existing blockchain networks. By proactively addressing this concern, InterLink aims to position its platform as a future-ready infrastructure capable of withstanding major computational advancements.

Addressing the Quantum Computing Threat

InterLink acknowledged that quantum computing represents a serious security concern for the blockchain ecosystem. As computing power continues to accelerate, particularly with artificial intelligence contributing to advances in supercomputing, traditional encryption methods may no longer remain secure. The company explained that cryptographic techniques once considered unbreakable are increasingly being reassessed in light of rapid technological progress.

In this context, InterLink believes that digital assets vulnerable to quantum-based attacks could struggle to function as reliable stores of value. The erosion of cryptographic security, in the company’s view, would significantly weaken user trust and compromise the credibility of blockchain networks. To mitigate this risk, InterLink has taken a decisive step by committing to the development of a quantum-resistant blockchain architecture.

Research-Driven Security Development

To support this effort, InterLink has formally begun assembling a specialized research team comprised of experienced cryptographers. This group is tasked with designing and implementing quantum-resistant mechanisms within the platform’s token and infrastructure framework. The company has indicated that this research-driven approach is central to ensuring that security enhancements are deeply embedded into the system rather than added as an afterthought.

InterLink has also stated that its research objectives are being aligned with security standards comparable to those established by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. By adhering to globally recognized benchmarks, the company aims to ensure that its cryptographic defenses meet the highest levels of resilience and reliability. As a result, InterLink considers quantum resistance to be a foundational requirement for the long-term viability of digital assets, rather than an optional or experimental feature.

Proactive Integration Into Core Infrastructure

Unlike many blockchain initiatives that respond to security threats only after vulnerabilities are exposed, InterLink has emphasized its intention to act in advance of potential quantum-related disruptions. The company reported that post-quantum cryptographic methods are already being evaluated during the development of its private mainnet. This approach is intended to ensure that quantum-resistant security measures are integrated from the earliest stages of the network’s architecture.

By embedding these protections into the core infrastructure, InterLink aims to reduce future risks and avoid costly retrofitting once quantum computing capabilities mature. The company believes this proactive strategy demonstrates a strong commitment to preserving digital value and maintaining trust in blockchain systems over the long term.

Strengthening Confidence in Future Digital Assets

InterLink’s initiative underscores a broader industry challenge as emerging technologies reshape assumptions around security and encryption. By prioritizing quantum resistance, the company seeks to reinforce confidence in blockchain-based assets and infrastructure amid accelerating technological change. Through continued research, adherence to global standards, and early integration of advanced cryptographic defenses, InterLink is positioning itself as an infrastructure-level blockchain focused on enduring stability and long-term security.

Curve Finance votes on revenue-sharing model for CRV holders

The post Curve Finance votes on revenue-sharing model for CRV holders appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Curve Finance has proposed a new protocol called Yield Basis that would share revenue directly with CRV holders, marking a shift from one-off incentives to sustainable income. Summary Curve Finance has put forward a revenue-sharing protocol to give CRV holders sustainable income beyond emissions and fees. The plan would mint $60M in crvUSD to seed three Bitcoin liquidity pools (WBTC, cbBTC, tBTC), with 35–65% of revenue distributed to veCRV stakers. The DAO vote runs from up to Sept. 24, with the proposal seen as a major step to strengthen CRV tokenomics after past liquidity and governance challenges. Curve Finance founder Michael Egorov has introduced a proposal to give CRV token holders a more direct way to earn income, launching a system called Yield Basis that aims to turn the governance token into a sustainable, yield-bearing asset.  The proposal has been published on the Curve DAO (CRV) governance forum, with voting open until Sept. 24. A new model for CRV rewards Yield Basis is designed to distribute transparent and consistent returns to CRV holders who lock their tokens for veCRV governance rights. Unlike past incentive programs, which relied heavily on airdrops and emissions, the protocol channels income from Bitcoin-focused liquidity pools directly back to token holders. To start, Curve would mint $60 million worth of crvUSD, its over-collateralized stablecoin, with proceeds allocated across three pools — WBTC, cbBTC, and tBTC — each capped at $10 million. 25% of Yield Basis tokens would be reserved for the Curve ecosystem, and between 35% and 65% of Yield Basis’s revenue would be given to veCRV holders. By emphasizing Bitcoin (BTC) liquidity and offering yields without the short-term loss risks associated with automated market makers, the protocol hopes to draw in professional traders and institutions. Context and potential impact on Curve Finance The proposal comes as Curve continues to modify…
