Throughout her career, Lady Gaga has won 14 Grammy Awards out of an incredible 45 nominations. The superstar may add to that sum in early February, when music’s biggest night returns, as she’s currently one of the most-nominated acts. Gaga is in the running for three of the four major prizes – Album of the Year for Mayhem, and both Record and Song of the Year for “Abracadabra” – as well as multiple other trophies.

Already one of the winningest stars of her generation at the Grammys, Gaga has also managed to make herself into a darling of the movie industry. The actress and singer has scored four Academy Award nominations, three of which have been in the Best Original Song category. One of her trio of nominated tunes suddenly becomes a bestseller again in the United Kingdom, as it joins two other smashes from the multi-genre talent.

“Hold My Hand” Becomes a Bestseller in the U.K. Again

“Hold My Hand” flies back onto a pair of rankings in the U.K., becoming a top seller once more. The Gaga track blasts in highest on the Official Singles Downloads chart, landing at No. 62. The same cut comes in not quite 10 spaces lower, at No. 71, on the Official Singles Sales list.

Lady Gaga’s “Hold My Hand” on the Charts

“Hold My Hand” has experienced a very similar run on the two purchase-only tallies and habits this frame. Gaga’s single has previously risen to No. 3 and spent 49 weeks on both rosters.

Lady Gaga Joined the Top Gun Universe

Gaga wrote “Hold My Hand” for Top Gun: Maverick, the long-awaited sequel to Tom Cruise’s ’80s staple. The superstar is also credited alongside Hans Zimmer, Lorne Balfe, and Harold Faltermeyer as one of the composers on the score and the film’s soundtrack, in addition to penning the tune.

Lady Gaga’s Best Original Song Oscar Nominations

Gaga earned her fourth Academy Award nomination as “Hold My Hand” was selected as one of the five potential winners of the Best Original Song prize at the 2023 Oscars. She was joined in the nod by producer and songwriter BloodPop, one of the most sought-after names in pop music.

That year, the honor went to “Naatu Naatu” from the Indian movie RRR, and Gaga was not the only pop icon to land a nomination. “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever brought Rihanna and African superstar Tems to the Oscars for the first time, while David Byrne and Mitski were also in the running for “This Is a Life,” taken from Everything Everywhere All at Once. The fifth and final nominated track that year was “Applause” by Academy favorite Diane Warren.

Before “Hold My Hand,” Gaga had already found herself in the running for Best Original Song twice. The singer and actress landed her first Academy Award nomination in 2016 for “Till It Happens to You,” co-written and produced by Warren. In 2019, Gaga was up for a pair of Oscars, as “Shallow” took home Best Original Song, while Olivia Colman beat the pop star for Best Actress.

“Die With a Smile” Also Returns in the U.K.

Two of Gaga’s smashes return in the U.K. this week. “Die With a Smile,” her collaboration with Bruno Mars, suddenly becomes a top 40 success again on the Official Singles chart, reappearing at No. 28. The same tune lives inside the top 40 on both the Official Streaming and Official Singles Downloads lists, and just misses that tier on the Official Singles Sales roster.

“Always Remember Us This Way” Remains a Bestseller as Well

Gaga fills a trio of spots on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads charts this week. As “Hold My Hand” returns, “Always Remember Us This Way” from the A Star Is Born soundtrack beats “Die With a Smile” as the two cuts climb.

Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision

Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision

The post Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Crypto assets send conflicting signals ahead of the Federal Reserve’s September rate decision. On-chain data reveals a clear decrease in Bitcoin and Ethereum flowing into centralized exchanges, but a sharp increase in altcoin inflows. The findings come from a Tuesday report by CryptoQuant, an on-chain data platform. The firm’s data shows a stark divergence in coin volume, which has been observed in movements onto centralized exchanges over the past few weeks. Bitcoin and Ethereum Inflows Drop to Multi-Month Lows Sponsored Sponsored Bitcoin has seen a dramatic drop in exchange inflows, with the 7-day moving average plummeting to 25,000 BTC, its lowest level in over a year. The average deposit per transaction has fallen to 0.57 BTC as of September. This suggests that smaller retail investors, rather than large-scale whales, are responsible for the recent cash-outs. Ethereum is showing a similar trend, with its daily exchange inflows decreasing to a two-month low. CryptoQuant reported that the 7-day moving average for ETH deposits on exchanges is around 783,000 ETH, the lowest in two months. Other Altcoins See Renewed Selling Pressure In contrast, other altcoin deposit activity on exchanges has surged. The number of altcoin deposit transactions on centralized exchanges was quite steady in May and June of this year, maintaining a 7-day moving average of about 20,000 to 30,000. Recently, however, that figure has jumped to 55,000 transactions. Altcoins: Exchange Inflow Transaction Count. Source: CryptoQuant CryptoQuant projects that altcoins, given their increased inflow activity, could face relatively higher selling pressure compared to BTC and ETH. Meanwhile, the balance of stablecoins on exchanges—a key indicator of potential buying pressure—has increased significantly. The report notes that the exchange USDT balance, around $273 million in April, grew to $379 million by August 31, marking a new yearly high. CryptoQuant interprets this surge as a reflection of…
