Can Solana Price Hit $300 as This Technical Signal Appears?

Key Insights:

  • Solana price action shows that the 50-day moving average just crossed above the 200-day line.
  • This technical setup often signals a buy signal and tells traders to brace for bullish price action.
  • Meanwhile, meme coin season could be the final push that Solana needs to break out past the $200 key resistance and reach $300.

Solana price action just formed a Golden Cross on the 4-hour chart, a pattern that often points to a rally. After weeks of quiet trading and sideways moves, SOL could be waking up.

The crossover shows buyers are gaining control across short and longer timeframes. Key support and resistance levels will decide the next move.

This signal does not promise a rally. Still, it often appears when buying pressure starts to build. With volatility easing, Solana has more room to move higher.

The next few hours and days will be telling.

Solana Price Action Forms Golden Cross, Will It Culminate in $300?

On the four-hour chart, Solana’s 50-day Simple Moving Average crossed above the 200-day SMA. Traders call this pattern a Golden Cross, a classic buy signal.

The question now is whether Solana price will follow through. Technicals are strong, but fundamentals matter too.

Recent SOL price data shows that Solana DEXs processed about $30 billion in trades last week, up 25% from the previous week. Meme coins drove most of the activity. BONK surged 50% in just seven days, and smaller tokens posted even bigger gains.

This surge matters because every trade on Solana uses SOL for fees. Higher trading activity pushes demand for the network. That connection between usage and value helps explain why Solana often rallies during meme coin booms.

History offers a clear example. In 2024, meme coin activity alone pushed the SOL/USDT price close to $300. Whenever developers launch new meme tokens on platforms like Pump.fun, DEX activity spikes, fueling price momentum.

Early 2026 is starting to look familiar. Trading activity on Solana is picking up again, with meme coins back in focus.

In the past 24 hours alone, Solana DEXs handled more than $5.7 billion in trades. That is a 40% increase over the past week, based on DeFiLlama data.

A few platforms did most of the heavy lifting. Meteora, PumpSwap, and HumidiFi together handled more than $3 billion in trading volume, placing them at the center of Solana’s recent surge.

This sharp rise in activity matters. High volume signals real usage, not just speculation. More users on the network translate into stronger demand for SOL, which is required to pay transaction fees.

In turn, that demand often helps support the price, especially when network activity continues to build.

A Closer Look at SOL Price

Meanwhile, crypto expert Crypto Tony posted about the recent Solana price action and noted that he is waiting for a dip, expecting a strong bounce from a key level.

The chart shows Solana cooling off after a strong rally. Price climbed steadily before topping out near the mid-$140s. From there, sellers stepped in and pushed the market lower.

The pullback is now moving toward a clear support zone in the low-$130s. This area capped price earlier in the move. Now it is being tested as support.

So far, the pullback looks calm. Selling is light, and traders are not rushing for the exit. This feels more like a pause than a real trend shift.

If price holds this level, a bounce becomes likely. That could send Solana back toward recent highs. However, if support fails, the market may need more time before the next move higher.

China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise

The post China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise China’s internet regulator has ordered the country’s biggest technology firms, including Alibaba and ByteDance, to stop purchasing Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D GPUs. According to the Financial Times, the move shuts down the last major channel for mass supplies of American chips to the Chinese market. Why Beijing Halted Nvidia Purchases Chinese companies had planned to buy tens of thousands of RTX Pro 6000D accelerators and had already begun testing them in servers. But regulators intervened, halting the purchases and signaling stricter controls than earlier measures placed on Nvidia’s H20 chip. Image: Nvidia An audit compared Huawei and Cambricon processors, along with chips developed by Alibaba and Baidu, against Nvidia’s export-approved products. Regulators concluded that Chinese chips had reached performance levels comparable to the restricted U.S. models. This assessment pushed authorities to advise firms to rely more heavily on domestic processors, further tightening Nvidia’s already limited position in China. China’s Drive Toward Tech Independence The decision highlights Beijing’s focus on import substitution — developing self-sufficient chip production to reduce reliance on U.S. supplies. “The signal is now clear: all attention is focused on building a domestic ecosystem,” said a representative of a leading Chinese tech company. Nvidia had unveiled the RTX Pro 6000D in July 2025 during CEO Jensen Huang’s visit to Beijing, in an attempt to keep a foothold in China after Washington restricted exports of its most advanced chips. But momentum is shifting. Industry sources told the Financial Times that Chinese manufacturers plan to triple AI chip production next year to meet growing demand. They believe “domestic supply will now be sufficient without Nvidia.” What It Means for the Future With Huawei, Cambricon, Alibaba, and Baidu stepping up, China is positioning itself for long-term technological independence. Nvidia, meanwhile, faces…
