Malacañang holds press briefing on 2026 budget
MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang holds a press briefing on the 2026 national budget shortly after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signed the 2026 General Appropriations Act on Monday, January 5.
Executive Secretary Ralph Recto leads the press conference, along with officials from the Department of Finance, Department of Budget and Management, and the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development.
