Hey Hackers!

\ Welcome back to 3 Tech Polls, HackerNoon's Weekly Newsletter that curates results from our Poll of the Week, and 2 related polls around the web. Thank you for having voted in our polls in the past.

\ This week, we’re talking about something near and dear to every programmer’s heart: their go-to language. Specifically, if they had to use one language for the rest of their life, which would they choose? Plus, we’ll also take a look at AI-assisted coding and try to determine which AI company is the best in that regard.

\

:::tip Vote in this week’s poll: How do you want your AI to sound when it talks to you?

:::

\

HackerNoon Poll:

If you could only use one programming language for the rest of your life, which would it be?

Surprisingly, or maybe unsurprisingly, there was one clear winner, and that was Python with a whoppping 37%. 2nd place was JavaScript, which won a quarter of the vote with 25%. Firmly in third place was the “Other” option. Then in 4th and 5th place were Go and C++, with 12% and 10% respectively.

\ 442 HackerNoon community members voted in this poll, and they also made their voices heard in the comment section.

\ One user noticed a popular language missing and commented:

\ Another user was surprised by the outcome of the poll and wondered why their favorite language was in last place:

\ And finally, one user used this poll as a way to reminisce and chronicle their programming journey:

\ In the end, the HackerNoon community chose Python as the one language they would use for the rest of their lives.

\ But now, let’s take a peek at what the rest of the internet is saying about coding and how AI is impacting this field.

🌐 From Around the Web: Polymarket Pick

Which company will have the best AI model for coding at the end of 2025?

AI-assisted coding is here, and many programmers have been implementing it in their code. But with so many AI companies and so many AI models to choose from, it can be hard to determine which one is the best. At least, that’s what it seemed like. However, it appears that the voters of Polymarket have clearly chosen a winner.

\ 93% of Polymarket voters believe that OpenAI will have the best AI model for coding by the end of December 2025. Anthropic is the next best with 4%. Google is in third place with 1%, and every other company after that is under 1%.

\ \

🌐From Around The Web: Kalshi Pick

Which AI company will have the best coding model on Jan 1, 2026?

Over on Kalshi, things are almost exactly the same. The same question was asked, and the same winner sprang up. 91% of Kalshi voters believe that OpenAI will have the best coding model by the end of the year. 7% believe it will be Anthropic, and 4% have their faith in Google.

\ The internet has decided: if you’re going to stick with one programming language for the rest of your life, it should be Python. And if you’re going to use an AI model to help you with your coding, make sure it’s one from OpenAI.

\ That’s all for this week.

\ Until next time, Hackers!

Is Doge Still The Best Crypto Investment, Or Will Pepeto Make You Rich In 2025

Is Doge Still The Best Crypto Investment, Or Will Pepeto Make You Rich In 2025

The post Is Doge Still The Best Crypto Investment, Or Will Pepeto Make You Rich In 2025 appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Crypto News 18 September 2025 | 13:39 Is Dogecoin actually running out of gas, after making people millionaires overnight? As investors hunt for the best crypto to buy now and the best crypto to invest in 2025, Dogecoin still owns the meme spotlight, yet its upside looks capped according to today’s Dogecoin price prediction. Focus is shifting toward projects that marry community with real on chain utility. People searching best crypto to buy now want shipped products, audits, and transparent tokenomics. That frames the honest matchup for this cycle, Dogecoin versus Pepeto. Meet Pepeto, an Ethereum based meme coin built with live rails, PepetoSwap for zero fee trading and Pepeto Bridge for smooth cross chain moves. By blending story with tools people can touch today, and speaking directly to crypto presale 2025 demand, Pepeto puts utility, clarity, and distribution first. In a market where older meme coins risk drifting on sentiment, Pepeto’s delivery gives it a credible seat in the best crypto investment debate. First, here is why Dogecoin may be fading. Dogecoin Price Prediction Is Dogecoin Losing Momentum Remember when Dogecoin made crypto feel effortless. In 2013, Doge turned an internet joke into money and a movement that welcomed everyone. A decade later the market is tougher and the relentless tailwind is gone, sentiment is choppier and patience matters. With Doge near $0.268, the setup reads bearish to neutral for the next few weeks. If the $0.26 shelf holds on daily closes, expect choppy range trading toward $0.29 to $0.30 where rallies keep stalling. Lose $0.26 and momentum often slides into $0.245 with risk of a deeper probe toward $0.22 to $0.21. Close back above $0.30 and the downside bias is likely neutralized, opening room for a squeeze into the low $0.30s. Beyond the price view, Dogecoin still centers…

3 Paradoxes of Altcoin Season in September

3 Paradoxes of Altcoin Season in September

The post 3 Paradoxes of Altcoin Season in September appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Analyses and data indicate that the crypto market is experiencing its most active altcoin season since early 2025, with many altcoins outperforming Bitcoin. However, behind this excitement lies a paradox. Most retail investors remain uneasy as their portfolios show little to no profit. This article outlines the main reasons behind this situation. Altcoin Market Cap Rises but Dominance Shrinks Sponsored TradingView data shows that the TOTAL3 market cap (excluding BTC and ETH) reached a new high of over $1.1 trillion in September. Yet the share of OTHERS (excluding the top 10) has declined since 2022, now standing at just 8%. OTHERS Dominance And TOTAL3 Capitalization. Source: TradingView. In past cycles, such as 2017 and 2021, TOTAL3 and OTHERS.D rose together. That trend reflected capital flowing not only into large-cap altcoins but also into mid-cap and low-cap ones. The current divergence shows that capital is concentrated in stablecoins and a handful of top-10 altcoins such as SOL, XRP, BNB, DOG, HYPE, and LINK. Smaller altcoins receive far less liquidity, making it hard for their prices to return to levels where investors previously bought. This creates a situation where only a few win while most face losses. Retail investors also tend to diversify across many coins instead of adding size to top altcoins. That explains why many portfolios remain stagnant despite a broader market rally. Sponsored “Position sizing is everything. Many people hold 25–30 tokens at once. A 100x on a token that makes up only 1% of your portfolio won’t meaningfully change your life. It’s better to make a few high-conviction bets than to overdiversify,” analyst The DeFi Investor said. Altcoin Index Surges but Investor Sentiment Remains Cautious The Altcoin Season Index from Blockchain Center now stands at 80 points. This indicates that over 80% of the top 50 altcoins outperformed…
