If you’ve finished watching Zootopia 2 or are heading to the theaters soon, here’s what to know about the film’s post-credits scenes, including whether there is one and what it means for the universe as a whole.

Yes, Zootopia 2 has a post-credits scene viewers will want to stay in their seats for. First, there’s a mid-credits scene featuring a montage of the film’s characters, set to an extended version of the new original song “Zoo,” performed by Shakira and written by Shakira and Ed Sheeran.

When the credits are fully finished, a post-credits scene appears that teases the franchise’s future and potentially sets up another sequel, introducing a new group of animals who could cause trouble for Judy and Nick.

Warning: Spoilers ahead for Zootopia 2’s end-credits scene.

Zootopia 2’s Post-Credit Scene Explained

In Zootopia 2’s end credits, Judy Hopps is back in her apartment, holding the carrot-shaped recording pen that has played a significant role in both films. She initially gave the pen to Nick after they solved their first case together. At the end of the movie, Nick gives the pen back to Judy after it was repaired, with a sweet message: “love ya, partner.”

After replaying the recording, Judy sets the pen down on her windowsill and gets into a back-and-forth spat with her neighbors through the walls, who are annoyed that she keeps playing the message on repeat. After she leaves, there’s an animal sound, followed by a single feather floating down and landing on the windowsill. The teaser suggests that a new animal species will likely be introduced to the Zootopia universe: birds.

While the first film focused on predator vs. prey, and the second on the mysterious reptilian villain Gary De’Snake, the third could position birds as the new antagonists.

Will There Be A Zootopia 3?

Disney has not yet announced plans for Zootopia 3. The studio could wait a few weeks, months, or even years to confirm a third installment, depending on the critical and commercial success of Zootopia 2, which was released on Nov. 26, 2025.

In a video interview with Who Let Us Out, the filmmakers teased that the franchise’s future is “endless,” as well with the many animals that could be included in upcoming films.

Zootopia 2 co-director Byron Howard revealed that 10 years ago, when they were working on the first movie, they didn’t have enough room for “all the worlds, and all the ideas and all the animals.”

Jared Bush, who also directs the film, added that manatees were one animal that didn’t make it into the first two films but that he hopes to include in the future.

While there was no mention of birds, they remain a species that has yet to make its way into the Zootopia world. The teaser in the post-credits scene makes it highly likely we’ll see them incorporated into a potential third film if Disney greenlights one.

Zootopia 2 is now playing in theaters everywhere. Watch the official trailer below.

Patriots Hall Of Famer Julian Edelman Is A Rising Media Star At FOX Sports

The post Patriots Hall Of Famer Julian Edelman Is A Rising Media Star At FOX Sports appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Julian Edelman has a burgeoning media career, including as an analyst on FOX NFL Kickoff. Lily Hernandez The day before the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Philadelphia Eagles, Julian Edelman was in a reflective mood. The last weekend he had spent in Arrowhead Stadium was when he helped the New England Patriots defeat the Chiefs in overtime to advance to the Patriots’ last Super Bowl. “I was definitely getting some flashbacks,” Edelman exclusively shared. “It’s definitely a special place to come. Not because we won (but) because we knew how hard it was to win here. This place rocks. Arrowhead is one of the most electric opponent stadiums that we played in. It was one of the greatest to be the villain.” Edelman had seven catches and 96 yards in that 37-31 overtime win against the Chiefs, paving the way for Super Bowl LIII, a game in which he won Super Bowl MVP. That may have been the apex of his playing career, which earned him induction into the Patriots’ Hall of Fame this weekend, but his post-NFL media career is ascending. He’s not only an analyst on FOX NFL Kickoff, the show that precedes FOX NFL Sunday, but also has his own production company and hosts two weekly podcasts. “It kind of (just) happened,” Edelman said. “My goal is really to just be around football in some form or fashion.” Julian Edelman of the New England Patriots celebrates after scoring in the fourth quarter against the Seattle Seahawks during Super Bowl XLIX.
