Solana Dips 2.1%, Digitap ($TAP) Hits $2M: Which is the Better Black Friday Buy?

Solana (SOL) no longer ranks among the five largest cryptos by market cap after falling more than 30% over the past month. Another 2.1% decline continues to frustrate investors as the token is now much closer to $100 than $200.

Given the continued weakness in Solana, it is no surprise that many investors aren’t attracted to this Black Friday discount. There are plenty of reasons to stop considering SOL one of the best cryptos to buy now.

But not all cryptos deserve to be shunned. Digitap ($TAP), a crypto presale project and creator of the world’s first “omni-bank,” is demonstrating its ability to sustain momentum during a broader market selloff. Digitap’s presale event recently crossed the $2 million raised milestone and continues to attract steady interest even as the wider market dips.

Essentially, Digitap is considered a top altcoin to buy because it offers something Solana can’t: stability during a rough time. To reward backers who recognize this narrative, the project is rolling out a Black Friday presale widget that runs a 96-hour event with no offers appearing every hour.

Why Digitap’s Utility Fits Best Crypto To Buy Now Lists

Digitap is positioning itself as a fintech “omni-bank,” unifying crypto and traditional finance on a single, easy-to-use platform. The superbank app is already live on iOS and Android devices and lets users worldwide send, receive, store, save, invest, and spend multiple fiat currencies through offshore IBAN accounts and transact with more than 100 cryptocurrencies.

Digitap’s recent partnership with Visa brings the globally recognized payment card’s name to its debit card. Users can preload their Visa-branded Digitap card with either fiat or crypto and spend anywhere Visa cards are accepted.

But the real killer product that sets Digitap apart as one of the best crypto to buy now is its ability to deliver real savings to those who need them most. The global average remittance fee is around 6.2%, meaning a foreign worker sending $1,000 to their family back home will pay $62 in fees.

Digitap addresses this by blending the speed of crypto with the familiarity and reach of banking. Its mobile app allows instant transfers, and fees are as low as 1%. By solving real problems of high fees, Digitap is tapping into a massive total addressable market of nearly $1 trillion.

How Digitap’s Tokenomics Tie Growth To Scarcer Supply

Digitap’s presale of its native $TAP token continues to run hot and is attracting capital from frustrated blue-chip token holders. Unlike many speculative tokens, Digitap is able to prove to investors it has real utility behind it. Its ongoing presale has connected over 120,000 wallets so far, representing an unusually high number and signaling confidence from the investment community.

Every presale stage has been selling out fast, causing the price of $TAP to gradually increase. The first round saw $TAP for sale at $0.0125, and it is now for sale at $0.0326. The current stage is 90% sold out, meaning a price increase to $0.0334 is imminent.

USE THE CODE “QUICKTAP40” FOR 40% OFF FIRST-TIME PURCHASES

During Black Friday, the presale widget is designed as a 96-hour “hourly drop” campaign. Each hour, a new offer goes live in the widget and remains available for just 60 minutes before it is replaced by the next deal. The prize pool exceeds $1 million in combined value across discounts, token bonuses, giveaways, credits, and card or banking product perks.

From an investment standpoint, Digitap is a leading altcoin to buy because its tokenomics are designed to support long-term value. The $TAP token has a fixed supply of 2 billion tokens, while 50% of the platform’s profits are allocated toward buyback-and-burn initiatives and rewarding stakers.

This means that as Digitap’s usage grows, the token becomes scarcer. Essentially, as Digitap’s user base grows, demand for $TAP could grow too, while the supply side is capped and shrinking.

Solana’s TVL and Users Drop as Price Slips Toward $100

2025 hasn’t played out as many had hoped for Solana. The crypto heavyweight was supposed to have a banner year with the launch of the first spot SOL ETF and multiple treasury companies buying billions of dollars worth of SOL.

However, large-cap coins like Solana have proven they may not deliver the kind of explosive gains that are expected. In fact, the token is down more than 45% over the past year. Fundamentally, Solana still has a lot going for it, including high throughput, a thriving ecosystem, and growing developer activity.

But many of the underlying metrics are in decline. Total Value Locked of $8.957 billion is down sharply from around $13.2 billion in late September. Active users have similarly fallen from 39.1 million in September to 26.7 million today.

Still, Solana’s falling metrics do not exactly translate to doom and gloom. But its large-cap status means its trading direction is also dictated by macroeconomic and other external factors. Whether this is fair or not is irrelevant; the fact is, SOL doesn’t offer the type of stability a crypto presale project could offer.

Black Friday Choice:  Rising Bank-Style $TAP over Mature Solana

Solana’s price could be considered a collapse as there were several compelling catalysts meant to drive the price to $300 and beyond. Instead, it is trading too close to the $100 level for comfort.

Digitap, on the other hand, is benefiting as a crypto presale project from a surge in demand driven by its real-world narrative. The Digitap app and Visa card integration is live, which is a welcome relief from other presales that only promise future utility.

Digitap is a top altcoin to buy because it offers a more compelling high-upside opportunity than most tokens. It is an early-stage project addressing a huge market, and the market’s current sentiment favors projects that bring practical utility.

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

The post Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. In this week’s edition of InnovationRx, we look at possible pain treatments from cannabis, risks of new vaccine restrictions, virtual clinical trials at the Mayo Clinic, GSK’s $30 billion U.S. manufacturing commitment, and more. To get it in your inbox, subscribe here. Despite their addictive nature, opioids continue to be a major treatment for pain due to a lack of effective alternatives. In an effort to boost new drugs, the FDA released new guidelines for non-opioid painkillers last week. But making these drugs hasn’t been easy. Vertex Pharmaceuticals received FDA approval for its non-opioid Journavx in January, then abandoned a next generation drug after a failed clinical trial earlier this summer. Acadia similarly abandoned a promising candidate after a failed trial in 2022. One possible basis for non-opioids might be cannabis. Earlier this year, researchers at Washington University at St. Louis and Stanford published a study showing that a cannabis-derived compound successfully eased pain in mice with minimal side effects. Munich-based pharmaceutical company Vertanical is perhaps the furthest along in this quest. It is developing a cannabinoid-based extract to treat chronic pain it hopes will soon become an approved medicine, first in the European Union and eventually in the United States. The drug, currently called Ver-01, packs enough low levels of cannabinoids (including THC) to relieve pain, but not so much that patients get high. Founder Clemens Fischer, a 50-year-old medical doctor and serial pharmaceutical and supplement entrepreneur, hopes it will become the first cannabis-based painkiller prescribed by physicians and covered by insurance. Fischer founded Vertanical, with his business partner Madlena Hohlefelder, in 2017, and has invested more than $250 million of his own money in it. With a cannabis cultivation site and drug manufacturing plant in Denmark, Vertanical has successfully passed phase III clinical trials in Germany and expects…

Edges higher ahead of BoC-Fed policy outcome

The post Edges higher ahead of BoC-Fed policy outcome appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. USD/CAD gains marginally to near 1.3760 ahead of monetary policy announcements by the Fed and the BoC. Both the Fed and the BoC are expected to lower interest rates. USD/CAD forms a Head and Shoulder chart pattern. The USD/CAD pair ticks up to near 1.3760 during the late European session on Wednesday. The Loonie pair gains marginally ahead of monetary policy outcomes by the Bank of Canada (BoC) and the Federal Reserve (Fed) during New York trading hours. Both the BoC and the Fed are expected to cut interest rates amid mounting labor market conditions in their respective economies. Inflationary pressures in the Canadian economy have cooled down, emerging as another reason behind the BoC’s dovish expectations. However, the Fed is expected to start the monetary-easing campaign despite the United States (US) inflation remaining higher. Investors will closely monitor press conferences from both Fed Chair Jerome Powell and BoC Governor Tiff Macklem to get cues about whether there will be more interest rate cuts in the remainder of the year. According to analysts from Barclays, the Fed’s latest median projections for interest rates are likely to call for three interest rate cuts by 2025. Ahead of the Fed’s monetary policy, the US Dollar Index (DXY), which tracks the Greenback’s value against six major currencies, holds onto Tuesday’s losses near 96.60. USD/CAD forms a Head and Shoulder chart pattern, which indicates a bearish reversal. The neckline of the above-mentioned chart pattern is plotted near 1.3715. The near-term trend of the pair remains bearish as it stays below the 20-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), which trades around 1.3800. The 14-day Relative Strength Index (RSI) slides to near 40.00. A fresh bearish momentum would emerge if the RSI falls below that level. Going forward, the asset could slide towards the round level of…
