It’s difficult at times to remember how young Billie Eilish is, considering how successful she has become in a relatively short period of time. The singer-songwriter has now been releasing commercially viable music – and even scoring hits on charts around the world – for a decade. In that span, she’s changed the sound of both pop and rock music, become one of the most awarded songwriters in film history, and a Grammy favorite.

To celebrate her first decade in the music business, Eilish recently re-released her debut single “Ocean Eyes.” This week in the United Kingdom, it becomes not only a strong seller once more, but a true collectible — one which helps her score a new No. 1 across a number of different tallies at the same time.

Billie Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes” Debuts at No. 1

“Ocean Eyes” debuts at No. 1 on both the Official Physical Singles and Official Vinyl Singles charts, two U.K.-based rankings that look only at pure purchases on physical mediums. One, as its name suggests, looks at all physical products, while the other is specific to vinyl.

Eilish scores her fourth No. 1 on the Official Physical Singles chart as “Ocean Eyes” arrives in first place. Her first three tunes to place on the tally — “My Future,” “No Time to Die,” and “What Was I Made For?” — all led the charge.

Which Billie Eilish Songs Have Hit No. 1?

Over on the Official Vinyl Singles ranking, Eilish has earned one more champion. On that tally, “My Future,” “No Time to Die,” “What Was I Made For?,” and “Ocean Eyes” all ruled, as did her single “TV.”

Coincidentally, Eilish has landed seven top 10s on both rosters, with smashes like “Birds of a Feather” and “Guess” with Charli XCX missing out on ruling by just one stubborn spot.

“Ocean Eyes” Hits the Top 10 for the First Time a Decade On

“Ocean Eyes” reaches the top 10 for the first time on the Official Single Sales list, which looks at the bestselling tracks on any format of any style throughout the U.K. “Ocean Eyes” reenters at No. 2 after not appearing on the ranking since 2020.

Eilish is blocked from a fourth ruler on the Official Single Sales tally by one rising smash. Grammy nominee and British favorite Raye sends “Where Is My Husband!” from No. 4 to No. 1 as the tune picks up steam all around the world.

Billie Eilish Earns a Milestone Tenth Top Ten Bestseller

While Eilish doesn’t collect another champion on the Official Single Sales chart this frame, “Ocean Eyes” does help her reach a milestone tenth top 10 success on the ranking. The Grammy and Oscar winner has cracked the uppermost tier on the competitive list with all of the following tunes:

  • “Bad Guy”
  • “Ocean Eyes”
  • “Everything I Wanted”
  • “No Time to Die”
  • “My Future”
  • “Therefore I Am”
  • “TV”
  • “What Was I Made For?”
  • “Birds of a Feather”
  • “Guess” with Charli XCX

“Ocean Eyes” Returns to the Main Singles Chart

“Ocean Eyes” also manages to return to the Official Singles chart, the list of the 100 most consumed songs throughout the nation, where both streaming activity and sales factor into where a title settles. “Ocean Eyes” appears on the most important songs tally in the U.K. for only the fourth time, and it hasn’t carved out space on the roster for almost seven years.

“Ocean Eyes” breaks back in at No. 60, which now stands as its all-time high point. Back in late 2018, the track climbed to No. 72, then two weeks later was gone and didn’t reappear until now.

Billie Eilish Marks a Decade in the Spotlight

Eilish released “Ocean Eyes” in November 2015, and it immediately set her up to become pop music’s newest superstar. The track, which was written and produced entirely by her older brother, Finneas O’Connell — with whom she has worked throughout her entire career — went viral immediately, and Eilish was thrust into the spotlight, where she has remained ever since.

To celebrate the song’s tenth anniversary, a limited edition seven-inch vinyl pressed on translucent turquoise was recently put up for sale on Eilish’s website.

Fed forecasts only one rate cut in 2026, a more conservative outlook than expected

The post Fed forecasts only one rate cut in 2026, a more conservative outlook than expected appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell talks to reporters following the regular Federal Open Market Committee meetings at the Fed on July 30, 2025 in Washington, DC. Chip Somodevilla | Getty Images The Federal Reserve is projecting only one rate cut in 2026, fewer than expected, according to its median projection. The central bank’s so-called dot plot, which shows 19 individual members’ expectations anonymously, indicated a median estimate of 3.4% for the federal funds rate at the end of 2026. That compares to a median estimate of 3.6% for the end of this year following two expected cuts on top of Wednesday’s reduction. A single quarter-point reduction next year is significantly more conservative than current market pricing. Traders are currently pricing in at two to three more rate cuts next year, according to the CME Group’s FedWatch tool, updated shortly after the decision. The gauge uses prices on 30-day fed funds futures contracts to determine market-implied odds for rate moves. Here are the Fed’s latest targets from 19 FOMC members, both voters and nonvoters: Zoom In IconArrows pointing outwards The forecasts, however, showed a large difference of opinion with two voting members seeing as many as four cuts. Three officials penciled in three rate reductions next year. “Next year’s dot plot is a mosaic of different perspectives and is an accurate reflection of a confusing economic outlook, muddied by labor supply shifts, data measurement concerns, and government policy upheaval and uncertainty,” said Seema Shah, chief global strategist at Principal Asset Management. The central bank has two policy meetings left for the year, one in October and one in December. Economic projections from the Fed saw slightly faster economic growth in 2026 than was projected in June, while the outlook for inflation was updated modestly higher for next year. There’s a lot of uncertainty…
