This week, the NYSE approved Grayscale’s Dogecoin ETF along with its XRP ETF, turning old trusts into fully traded ETFs that big investors can buy.

Even with this progress, DOGE is still far below its all-time high, and the market is seeing heavy ETF withdrawals. Many traders are searching for fresh opportunities, especially early projects like Remittix (RTX) that have real utility, clear plans, and growing long-term interest.

Dogecoin ETF Goes Live but the Price Still Struggles

The new Dogecoin ETF, which is set to begin trading on Monday, will mark the second DOGE ETF in the United States. This is offering Dogecoin more access to Wall Street money and possibly stronger liquidity over time.

Despite the underlying fact that it has reached a milestone, DOGE is trading at $0.14 and still more than 80% below its all-time high. News of the ETF alone has not been enough to push its price higher.

Market observers point out that the timing is tough because the ETF launch comes during a week of major outflows across the entire crypto market. Bitcoin ETFs lost nearly one billion dollars in a single day, including big withdrawals from BlackRock’s IBIT and Grayscale’s GBTC. Fidelity’s FBTC also saw large exits. Some analysts now warn that if this trend continues, Bitcoin could once again drop towards $82,000 – the support range it touched on the 21st of November – which would add more pressure on altcoins like Dogecoin.

DOGE recently tested the $0.1471 low, and a death cross has already formed, where the 50-day EMA drops below the two 100-day EMA. After this signal appeared, the price fell another 25%. DOGE also remains stuck below the 200-day EMA at $0.21, which is an important level that needs to be reclaimed for any strong recovery to begin.

For most of the year, Dogecoin has been moving inside a wide sideways range between zero point one five and $0.229. DOGE must climb back above $0.17, $0.19, and then $0.21 before the trend can turn bullish again.

Where Smart Money Is Moving: Remittix (RTX)

Dogecoin struggles to find direction, so many traders and investors are shifting focus toward newer utility-driven projects. One of the strongest names in this trend is Remittix (RTX). It is a PayFi project that gives crypto real use in global payments.

Remittix has raised over $28.2 million, sold more than 686 million tokens, and is priced at $0.1166. It is also fully verified by CertiK, with KYC-checked founders, and a live wallet beta already being tested.

Why Remittix Is Getting Attention

  • December Announcement Coming: Remittix has teased a major project update in December, increasing hype among early buyers.

  • CertiK Verified: This gives Remittix a stronger trust rating than most presales and puts it ahead in security rankings.

  • Cross-Border Payments in 30+ Countries: The project focuses on real users sending money across borders.

  • Live Wallet Beta: The live beta wallet, something rarely seen at the stage of a presale, is already being tested.

Final Thoughts: Is Dogecoin Still Worth It?

Dogecoin’s price is weak even with the ETF. The trend is bearish, and the market is risk-off. Meanwhile, Remittix is delivering real utility in a sector where demand continues to grow. With a December announcement on the way and strong CertiK trust scores, many believe Remittix is the smarter play for anyone looking beyond memes toward real utility.

FAQs

1. Is Dogecoin still a good investment?

DOGE can move around within its long range, yet the trend is still bearish. It must recover a loss of 21% before a robust recovery can take shape.

2. Why is Dogecoin falling?

ETF outflows, a death cross, weak market sentiment, and rising pressure on Bitcoin have pushed DOGE lower.

3. Can the new Dogecoin ETF help the price?

It may help long term, but the launch comes during heavy market outflows, so the impact might be slow.

4. Why are traders buying Remittix instead?

Remittix offers real-world payment use, CertiK security, CEX listings, and a live wallet, giving it stronger utility than most early altcoins.

5. Could Remittix outperform DOGE in 2025?

If Remittix keeps growing and the December announcement is big, it could see higher percentage gains than DOGE due to its lower market cap.

Fed Makes First Rate Cut of the Year, Lowers Rates by 25 Bps

The post Fed Makes First Rate Cut of the Year, Lowers Rates by 25 Bps appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The Federal Reserve has made its first Fed rate cut this year following today’s FOMC meeting, lowering interest rates by 25 basis points (bps). This comes in line with expectations, while the crypto market awaits Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s speech for guidance on the committee’s stance moving forward. FOMC Makes First Fed Rate Cut This Year With 25 Bps Cut In a press release, the committee announced that it has decided to lower the target range for the federal funds rate by 25 bps from between 4.25% and 4.5% to 4% and 4.25%. This comes in line with expectations as market participants were pricing in a 25 bps cut, as against a 50 bps cut. This marks the first Fed rate cut this year, with the last cut before this coming last year in December. Notably, the Fed also made the first cut last year in September, although it was a 50 bps cut back then. All Fed officials voted in favor of a 25 bps cut except Stephen Miran, who dissented in favor of a 50 bps cut. This rate cut decision comes amid concerns that the labor market may be softening, with recent U.S. jobs data pointing to a weak labor market. The committee noted in the release that job gains have slowed, and that the unemployment rate has edged up but remains low. They added that inflation has moved up and remains somewhat elevated. Fed Chair Jerome Powell had also already signaled at the Jackson Hole Conference that they were likely to lower interest rates with the downside risk in the labor market rising. The committee reiterated this in the release that downside risks to employment have risen. Before the Fed rate cut decision, experts weighed in on whether the FOMC should make a 25 bps cut or…
