This New DeFi Crypto Is Almost Sold Out as Phase 6 Hits 90%, The Next 20x Token Under $0.05?

The phase 6 of the Mutuum Finance (MUTM) presale is almost being sold out, and the hurry is becoming increasingly noisier. The token is currently valued only at $0.035 and more than 90% of this phase is already utilised, so early investors are becoming inclined to ask the question: is it the next 20x DeFi crypto under $0.05?

Mutuum Finance (MUTM)

Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is constructing a decentralized lending and borrowing platform that is based on two frameworks: Peer-to-Contract (P2C) and Peer-to-Peer (P2P). Both sides provide their users with varying methods to accrue yield or achieve access to capital and retain possession of their properties.

P2C: mtTokens and Passive APY

Under the P2C market, lenders put assets in a liquidity pool and are issued with mtTokens which works as interest bearing receipts. These increase with time according to the activity of the borrowers. Indicatively, when a user provides ETH of $1,000 in the form of loans, the number of their mtTokens grows after loans are paid and interest is charged. It is an unmanaged, automatic, and easy way to earn some money.

The rate at which borrowers are charged is subject to the rate of utilisation. A high level of idle liquidity in the pool means low rates to promote borrowing, whereas a tightening liquidity market will see an increase in the rate which will result in repayments and an influx of more deposits. This forms a natural feedback mechanism that aims at keeping the pool balanced in the long run.

P2P: Borrow Rates, LTV Regulations and Liquidation

Mutuum Finance also offers a P2P market to those users who would like to have a direct loan agreement. Collateral is locked in place by a fixed Loan-to-Value(LTV). To illustrate, with 75% LTV, an individual with a collateral worth $1,000 will be able to borrow up to $750. In the event that the collateral declines too much in value and passes the liquidation threshold, liquidators are able to intervene and use a portion of the debt to obtain discounted collateral. This liquidation bonus assists in keeping the system afloat and leaves the jobs tidied within a short space of time when times are volatile.

Presale Momentum

Presale MUTM is one of the biggest fundraisers of 2025. It has previously drawn approximately $18.85M capital, received in excess of 18,100 holders and sold off approximately 805M tokens.

The presale began in early 2025 at $0.01. The token has since soared 250% to the present level of $0.035. The official launch price is set at $0.06, the early buyers that entered the game at Phase 1 are aimed to see about 500% token appreciation especially to those that entered the game in Phase 1.

The demand is persistent and Phase 6 is over 90% crowded. Successful sale of stage leads to second stage selling at greater price. This is the reason why people are attempting to bag MUTM before the next crypto leap. The 24-hour board is also an attention-grabber, the best contributor on a daily basis wins $500 in MUTM and so the participation is even more participatory.

Security and Analyst Outlook

Mutuum Finance officially stated on its account X that V1 will go to the Sepolia Testnet in Q4 2025. The initial prototype will envisage a pool of liquidity, mtTokens, a token tracking debt and a liquidation agent, where ETH and USDT will be supported at its launch.

Security is also a good strength. The project passed the CertiK audit of a 90/100 Token Scan rating, which strengthened investor confidence. It equally has a $50k bug bounty to identify any vulnerabilities in its code, prior to mainnet.

Other observers reckon that the upside on MUTM may be excellent shortly after its launch. They refer to the buy-and-redistribute model – in which MUTM buys in the open market and redistributes to users that stake in the safety module with the mtTokens – which generates constant buying pressure.

Others point out that the beta version of the platform will be launched about the same time the token will be available to possible top-tier exchanges. Based on this schedule, commentators to the market posit, there is likelihood of listing to the prime stock exchanges a move that may produce much more buyers.

Layer-2 Growth

Mutuum Finance also intends to introduce an on-demand stable minting and burning of the liquidity of the protocol. A stablecoin will confer significant utility to the platform that will assist in obtaining more borrowing and lending capital.

The other component of the roadmap is layer-2 expansion. Reduced rates on gas charges and reduced homage speed enhance the borrowing experience as well as the activities of the liquidation. In the case of a lending protocol, it has a direct impact on performance and retention.

Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is at the eve of one of the most critical echelons of its presale. As Phase 6 progressed to sell out, demand increased, the security was optimistic, and the V1 testnet is soon, the urgency is growing. The token remains below the $0.05 mark, but there is anticipation early investor hopes suggest that it will not remain there many days.

Fed Decides On Interest Rates Today—Here’s What To Watch For

The post Fed Decides On Interest Rates Today—Here’s What To Watch For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Topline The Federal Reserve on Wednesday will conclude a two-day policymaking meeting and release a decision on whether to lower interest rates—following months of pressure and criticism from President Donald Trump—and potentially signal whether additional cuts are on the way. President Donald Trump has urged the central bank to “CUT INTEREST RATES, NOW, AND BIGGER” than they might plan to. Getty Images Key Facts The central bank is poised to cut interest rates by at least a quarter-point, down from the 4.25% to 4.5% range where they have been held since December to between 4% and 4.25%, as Wall Street has placed 100% odds of a rate cut, according to CME’s FedWatch, with higher odds (94%) on a quarter-point cut than a half-point (6%) reduction. Fed governors Christopher Waller and Michelle Bowman, both Trump appointees, voted in July for a quarter-point reduction to rates, and they may dissent again in favor of a large cut alongside Stephen Miran, Trump’s Council of Economic Advisers’ chair, who was sworn in at the meeting’s start on Tuesday. It’s unclear whether other policymakers, including Kansas City Fed President Jeffrey Schmid and St. Louis Fed President Alberto Musalem, will favor larger cuts or opt for no reduction. Fed Chair Jerome Powell said in his Jackson Hole, Wyoming, address last month the central bank would likely consider a looser monetary policy, noting the “shifting balance of risks” on the U.S. economy “may warrant adjusting our policy stance.” David Mericle, an economist for Goldman Sachs, wrote in a note the “key question” for the Fed’s meeting is whether policymakers signal “this is likely the first in a series of consecutive cuts” as the central bank is anticipated to “acknowledge the softening in the labor market,” though they may not “nod to an October cut.” Mericle said he…
