The post The Final Word On ‘Absentia’ Season 4 On Netflix appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. It is always exceedingly random which licensed series manage to find new life on Netflix, and now we have a new one that has risen up the charts. That would be Absentia, the mystery crime series that is currently #2 on Netflix’s Top 10 list, behind only megahit The Beast in Me, and ahead of the return of the excellent Man on the Inside. Now, people want to know if because of its success, if there will be an Absentia season 4. So what is this show? Given that Netflix now hides its “Netflix original” badge on its home page, I dug in to find that no, it’s not one. Rather, Absentia aired on Amazon Prime Video and AXN back in 2017, and ran for three seasons, ending in 2020 after 30 episodes. Here’s the synopsis: “Years after her presumed death, an FBI agent escapes a serial killer’s clutches to find her family has moved on – and a new crime shadows her return.” Interesting concept, and the show reviewed decently well among fans. Barely any critics seemed to notice it at all during its run, and it has relatively few reviews in as a result, but on IMDB, 20,000 fans have given it a rather good 7.2/10, which in the context of that site, is very positive. I would be surprised if you recognized any cast member here other than Stana Katic, who joined the series right after her run on Castle ended in 2016. Everyone else, short of a role for recent Galactus Ralph Ineson, are people I do not recognize. Will There be an Absentia Season 4 on Netflix? The Final Word On ‘Absentia’ Season 4 On Netflix

Here’s the synopsis:

Will There be an Absentia Season 4 on Netflix?

So, given its success on Netflix, is there any reason to think that there’s new life for Absentia in the form of a season 4? Unfortunately no, there’s almost no chance.

It’s happened before, but rarely with licensed series on Netflix short of massive hits like Manifest. Here, back in 2021, Katic pretty conclusively stated they were done:

Honestly, it’s probably better this way. Too many shows that air on Netflix end prematurely and head into its graveyard of unfinished productions. But a show like Absentia with 30 episodes and a satisfying finale, is something that’s kind of refreshing at this point. And it seems audiences agree, given this viewership.

I wondered what Stana Katic was up to after this, and I see that she has moved into voicework, voicing Wonder Woman and Superwoman across five different Justice League animated projects in four years. She’ll star in an upcoming TV series, Entangled, now in pre-production.

So, Absentia seems good. Go check it out while it’s hot.

The post IP Hits $11.75, HYPE Climbs to $55, BlockDAG Surpasses Both with $407M Presale Surge! appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Crypto News 17 September 2025 | 18:00 Discover why BlockDAG’s upcoming Awakening Testnet launch makes it the best crypto to buy today as Story (IP) price jumps to $11.75 and Hyperliquid hits new highs. Recent crypto market numbers show strength but also some limits. The Story (IP) price jump has been sharp, fueled by big buybacks and speculation, yet critics point out that revenue still lags far behind its valuation. The Hyperliquid (HYPE) price looks solid around the mid-$50s after a new all-time high, but questions remain about sustainability once the hype around USDH proposals cools down. So the obvious question is: why chase coins that are either stretched thin or at risk of retracing when you could back a network that’s already proving itself on the ground? That’s where BlockDAG comes in. While other chains are stuck dealing with validator congestion or outages, BlockDAG’s upcoming Awakening Testnet will be stress-testing its EVM-compatible smart chain with real miners before listing. For anyone looking for the best crypto coin to buy, the choice between waiting on fixes or joining live progress feels like an easy one. BlockDAG: Smart Chain Running Before Launch Ethereum continues to wrestle with gas congestion, and Solana is still known for network freezes, yet BlockDAG is already showing a different picture. Its upcoming Awakening Testnet, set to launch on September 25, isn’t just a demo; it’s a live rollout where the chain’s base protocols are being stress-tested with miners connected globally. EVM compatibility is active, account abstraction is built in, and tools like updated vesting contracts and Stratum integration are already functional. Instead of waiting for fixes like other networks, BlockDAG is proving its infrastructure in real time. What makes this even more important is that the technology is operational before the coin even hits exchanges. That…
