Doja Cat’s latest album Vie is shockingly less than two months old. It might seem older, as it has disappeared from the charts, though not every trace of it is gone.

The singer and rapper delivered the project in late September, seemingly dropping it just before Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl took over the Billboard charts. Vie received warm reviews from critics, and fans seemed to enjoy the project.

While the album opened inside the top five on the Billboard 200, it has not turned out to be Doja’s most successful release. The Grammy winner is still promoting the full-length with lead single “Jealous Type,” which arrived this summer and this frame not only earns the superstar a new No. 1 in America, but helps her tie some of the most successful women in music history.

Doja Cat’s “Jealous Type” Rises to No. 1

“Jealous Type” improves on the Rhythmic Airplay chart, one of Billboard’s radio rosters. Doja’s single leaps from No. 4 to the top spot this week.

How Many No. 1 Hits Has Doja Cat Charted?

Doja collects her milestone twelfth No. 1 on the Rhythmic Airplay chart as “Jealous Type” soars to the summit. Impressively, only four of her songs that have cracked the top 10 have missed out on running the show for even one frame, and half of all the tunes Doja has placed anywhere on the Rhythmic Airplay ranking have hit No. 1.

Here is a rundown of all of Doja’s rulers on the Rhythmic Airplay chart:

  • “Paint the Town Red”
  • “Woman”
  • “Need to Know”
  • “I Like You (A Happier Song)” with Post Malone
  • “You Right” with The Weeknd
  • “Say So”
  • “Agora Hills”
  • “Kiss Me More” with SZA
  • “Jealous Type”
  • “Vegas”
  • “Freaky Deaky” with Tyga
  • “Best Friend” with Saweetie

Billboard reports that as “Jealous Type” adds to Doja’s winners, she ties two superstars for the second-most rulers among women in the chart’s tenure. Both Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj have also landed an even dozen champions thus far.

Rihanna Continues to Lead All Women

Looking solely at female artists, Beyoncé, Minaj, and Doja trail behind only Rihanna. She sits in a distant first place with her 17 No. 1s on the Rhythmic Airplay chart.

Who Has the Most No. 1 Songs on the Rhythmic Airplay Chart?

When all acts are included, Drake is the clear winner. The Canadian hip-hop talent has earned 43 No. 1s – more than twice as many as Rihanna, who claims the second-most.

In between Drake and Rihanna and the trio of Beyoncé, Minaj, and Doja come The Weeknd and Chris Brown with 16 and 15 No. 1s, respectively. Usher, Bruno Mars, and Lil Wayne land just ahead of Doja and her compatriots with a lucky 13 leaders.

Doja Cat’s “Jealous Type” Rises to New Peaks on Multiple Billboard Charts

At the same time that it commands the Rhythmic Airplay chart for the first time, “Jealous Type” lifts again on the Radio Songs tally, the most competitive of all airplay rosters published by Billboard. “Jealous Type” dances three spaces north and hits a new all-time peak of No. 13. The same tune holds at its high-best placement of No. 9 on the Pop Airplay ranking while also turning around and ascending slightly on the Hot 100.

Vie Disappears as Planet Her Nears a Career Milestone

While “Jealous Type” is still earning plenty of love on the airwaves, Vie has vanished completely from the Billboard charts. Interestingly, Doja’s Planet Her, which features many of her most famous tracks – such as “Kiss Me More,” “You Right,” “Need to Know,” and “Woman” – remains present. Planet Her drops more than 20 spaces on the Billboard 200, dipping to No. 181. If it can hold on for one more frame, Planet Her will reach four full years on the ranking of the most consumed albums and EPs in America.

A Netflix ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Short Film Has Been Rated For Release

The post A Netflix ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Short Film Has Been Rated For Release appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. KPop Demon Hunters Netflix Everyone has wondered what may be the next step for KPop Demon Hunters as an IP, given its record-breaking success on Netflix. Now, the answer may be something exactly no one predicted. According to a new filing with the MPA, something called Debut: A KPop Demon Hunters Story has been rated PG by the ratings body. It’s listed alongside some other films, and this is obviously something that has not been publicly announced. A short film could be well, very short, a few minutes, and likely no more than ten. Even that might be pushing it. Using say, Pixar shorts as a reference, most are between 4 and 8 minutes. The original movie is an hour and 36 minutes. The “Debut” in the title indicates some sort of flashback, perhaps to when HUNTR/X first arrived on the scene before they blew up. Previously, director Maggie Kang has commented about how there were more backstory components that were supposed to be in the film that were cut, but hinted those could be explored in a sequel. But perhaps some may be put into a short here. I very much doubt those scenes were fully produced and simply cut, but perhaps they were finished up for this short film here. When would Debut: KPop Demon Hunters theoretically arrive? I’m not sure the other films on the list are much help. Dead of Winter is out in less than two weeks. Mother Mary does not have a release date. Ne Zha 2 came out earlier this year. I’ve only seen news stories saying The Perfect Gamble was supposed to come out in Q1 2025, but I’ve seen no evidence that it actually has. KPop Demon Hunters Netflix It could be sooner rather than later as Netflix looks to capitalize…
