Robert Kiyosaki, the author of the best-selling book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”, announced that he sold his bitcoins for a total of $2.25 million. According to him, the assets were purchased several years ago at $6,000 per 1 BTC, and sold for about $90,000.
Kiyosaki used the proceeds to purchase two surgical centers and launch a billboard business. The writer expects that by February 2026, the investments will start earning him approximately $27,500 in tax-free passive income every month.
In addition, he stated that he is not giving up on bitcoin and plans to buy it again with cash flow from the new business.
Kiyosaki explained that he was repeatedly advised not to disclose details about his bitcoin sale and further real estate investments. According to him, such restraint is allegedly due to the fact that there are too many people in the world with bad intentions, and excessive openness can be dangerous.
Recall, earlier Kiyosaki announced “millions” in bitcoins and predicted the growth of the asset to $200,000.
