Michael Jackson’s music recently enjoyed its annual boost on charts all around the world as millions of people rushed to stream and even buy both his album and song Thriller. The tune, and by extension, the project on which it is featured, has become a staple of the ending of October, and even well over a decade after the King of Pop’s passing, the track manages to become a top performer around the planet.

As is often the case with tunes that perform well thanks to one moment in the year, interest in Halloween songs typically drops off a cliff starting in November. Jackson’s work has experienced something of a different trajectory in 2025. Even though November is more than halfway over, in the United Kingdom, Thriller is still on the rise, and its current popularity helps several of Jackson’s tunes and even multiple albums find their way back to various charts.

Michael Jackson’s Thriller Hits a New All-Time Peak

Perhaps most exciting when it comes to the Thriller album this frame in the U.K. is the fact that the set reaches a new all-time peak on one ranking. Looking at the Official Albums Streaming chart, which lists the most successful projects on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others, Thriller moonwalks from No. 84 to No. 72. Nine weeks into its time on the roster, and more than eight years after it debuted, Thriller reestablishes its best showing yet.

Thriller Lives on Multiple Charts, Even Following Halloween

Thriller can be found on four lists across the Atlantic this week, and it is enjoying quite the run on all of them. In addition to hitting a new peak on the streaming tally, Thriller bolts almost 30 spaces north on the main ranking of the most consumed albums in the country.

At the same time, it reappears on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts. Thriller can be located at Nos. 84 and 85, respectively, and as of this frame, it celebrates 100 weeks on the roster that looks only at the top-selling titles on any physical medium.

Bad and The Essential Join Thriller on Charts

Jackson sees three albums live on multiple charts in the U.K. this week, with Thriller appearing on four, while the other two, The Essential and Bad, find space on half as many tallies.

Bad reappears on the Official Albums chart at No. 79 and soars nearly 30 spots north on the Official Albums Streaming list.

The Essential, which keeps Jackson on the U.K. rankings regularly, lives inside the top 10 on the same two tallies. The hits-packed project steps up to No. 8 on both the list of the most consumed albums in the U.K., as well as the Official Albums Streaming chart.

“You Rock My World” Returns After More Than 20 Years Away

Just two of Jackson’s songs chart in the U.K., and oddly, neither of them are “Thriller,” despite that album’s current success. Interestingly, there is no crossover between the late star’s popular tunes in terms of the lists where they can be found.

“You Rock My World” finds its way back to the Official Dance Singles chart at No. 33. The cut has not been seen on the list for more than two decades, as it debuted at No. 7, its all-time high, in October 2001, and then a month later was gone.

“Billie Jean” Dances Back to It’s All-Time Chart High

While “Thriller,” the song, is nowhere to be found, another tune from the album of the same name, “Billie Jean,” is a top performer once more. “Billie Jean” finds its way back to the Official Streaming chart, hitting No. 72 – its previously established peak position. At the same time, it ranks as one of the 100 biggest tunes in the U.K., barely managing to hold on as it slides backward on the competitive roster from No. 89 to No. 94.

FCA, crackdown on crypto

The post FCA, crackdown on crypto appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The regulation of cryptocurrencies in the United Kingdom enters a decisive phase. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has initiated a consultation to set minimum standards on transparency, consumer protection, and digital custody, in order to strengthen market confidence and ensure safer operations for exchanges, wallets, and crypto service providers. The consultation was published on May 2, 2025, and opened a public discussion on operational responsibilities and safeguarding requirements for digital assets (CoinDesk). The goal is to make the rules clearer without hindering the sector’s evolution. According to the data collected by our regulatory monitoring team, in the first weeks following the publication, the feedback received from professionals and operators focused mainly on custody, incident reporting, and insurance requirements. Industry analysts note that many responses require technical clarifications on multi-sig, asset segregation, and recovery protocols, as well as proposals to scale obligations based on the size of the operator. FCA Consultation: What’s on the Table The consultation document clarifies how to apply rules inspired by traditional finance to the crypto perimeter, balancing innovation, market integrity, and user protection. In this context, the goal is to introduce minimum standards for all firms under the supervision of the FCA, an essential step for a more transparent and secure sector, with measurable benefits for users. The proposed pillars Obligations towards consumers: assessment on the extension of the Consumer Duty – a requirement that mandates companies to provide “good outcomes” – to crypto services, with outcomes for users that are traceable and verifiable. Operational resilience: introduction of continuity requirements, incident response plans, and periodic testing to ensure the operational stability of platforms even in adverse scenarios. Financial Crime Prevention: strengthening AML/CFT measures through more stringent transaction monitoring and structured counterpart checks. Custody and safeguarding: definition of operational methods for the segregation of client assets, secure…

From Under $0.0025 to $0.25 Over the Next 10 Weeks? Little Pepe (LILPEPE) Named Best Crypto to Buy in 2025 Over Ripple (XRP)

The post From Under $0.0025 to $0.25 Over the Next 10 Weeks? Little Pepe (LILPEPE) Named Best Crypto to Buy in 2025 Over Ripple (XRP) appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The cryptocurrency sector is dynamic and vital for major and minor players alike. With every boom, new categories of tokens are introduced that make new market predictions based on new sets of metrics.  Many believe that, apart from having an appreciated use case that makes it easily attain adoption, Ripple (XRP) has already established itself as a vital part of the blockchain system. But as it turns out, a new competitor, Little Pepe (LILPEPE), has generated significant buzz. Little Pepe is projected to appreciate to 100x its current price of 0.0021, reach 0.25 in 2025, and is considered a top pick for 2025. Ripple (XRP): Dependable but Predictable Ripple has dominated cross-border payment technology for many years. Priced at around $2.98, Ripple remains well supported by partnerships with industry leaders and its increasing contribution to payment processing.  Analysts predict XRP to be at the $7 to $10 range by 2026 and the recent favorable legal rulings Ripple has received in the United States has heightened optimism surrounding the token. For conservative investors, XRP represents stability in an otherwise volatile sector. However, its large market capitalization makes 50x or 100x gains virtually impossible within one cycle. Ripple is a strong asset in the utility sense, but lacks the utility that smaller tokens can bring. Little Pepe (LILPEPE): Presale Energy With a Twist Little Pepe is capturing the attention of investors with its outstanding presale performance. Currently, the presale is in Stage 12, and each stage sells out faster and faster. presale is at $0.0021.  Each stage is selling out faster and faster. Analysts speculate the token could rise to $0.25 within 10 weeks after listing. Such a rise would be one of recent memory’s most remarkable early runs. What makes Little Pepe different is its dual identity. On the surface, it…
