One of the top drivers in the NTT IndyCar Series in 2025 will remain at Andretti Global as Kyle Kirkwood signed a multi-year contract extension on Monday, November 3.

Kirkwood is a five-time IndyCar Series race winner, including three victories in 2025. That would have made him one of the major stories of the season, but Alex Palou of Chip Ganassi Racing won an astounding eight races including the 109th Indianapolis 500.

Kyle Kirkwood Key To Andretti Global Success

Towriss is the co-owner of the team along with Mark Walter, the owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who celebrated the World Series title by defeating the Toronto Blue Jays in extra innings in Game Seven on November 1.

Gregory is the President of Andretti Global and has played a key role in guiding the team since former owner Michael Andretti turned over control of the team in September 2024.

Kirkwood will join IndyCar veteran and recently announced teammate Will Power, and Indianapolis 500 Champion Marcus Ericsson for the 2026 IndyCar season, kicking off with the season opener on the Streets of St. Petersburg on February 27.

Kyle Kirkwood’s Impressive Development

Since joining Andretti in 2023, Kirkwood has delivered five wins, three poles and six podiums, leading more than 300 laps. His breakout 2025 season with victories in the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, and back-to-back wins in Detroit followed by his first oval victory at World Wide Technology Raceway.

Kirkwood is a former INDY NXT by Firestone Champion with Andretti, Kirkwood remains the only driver to capture titles in all three development series (USF2000, USF Pro 2000 and INDY NXT) in consecutive years. His trajectory embodies the team’s framework for sustained success, built on focus, discipline and a shared drive to elevate Andretti’s competitive and connected future.

Nvidia had unveiled the RTX Pro 6000D in July 2025 during CEO Jensen Huang’s visit to Beijing, in an attempt to keep a foothold in China after Washington restricted exports of its most advanced chips. But momentum is shifting. Industry sources told the Financial Times that Chinese manufacturers plan to triple AI chip production next year to meet growing demand.
