Ethernet is the fastest growing blockchain developer in 2025 with 16,000+ developers; Solana explodes, Bitcoin is third, and blockchain developers transform developer ecosystems.

In  2025, Ethereum has established itself as the most successful blockchain developer ecosystem, with over 16,000 new developers joining between January and September.

Ethereum Foundation records (referencing Electric Capital data) suggest that with this surge, Ethereum has gone way ahead of all blockchain projects in the entire world.

The total number of active developers currently runs at 31,869 users of both the core network and layer-2 solutions like Arbitrum and Optimism.

These numbers do not include cases of counting developers who can work on several networks within the Ethereum ecosystem.

This development supports Ethereum as the leader in blockchain innovation and smart contract development.

The Rapid Developer Expansion by Solana raises eyebrows.

Solana is second with more than 11,500 new developers in 2025, and its total number of active developers is 17,708.

Although this is a remarkable growth, the Solana Foundation has raised concerns regarding the fact that the data collected by Electric Capital could underreport its true developer count by approximately 7,800, given the difficulty in monitoring all the Solana activity.

The developer base across Solana has increased 29.1% over the past year and exceeded by a staggering 61.7% in the previous two years, ranking it as one of the fastest-growing ecosystems in blockchain development.

However, other specialists warn that these numbers may be temporarily over-inflated due to the use of AI-assisted coding and projects in hackathons.

Bitcoin Takes Third Sweep, Raising Interest of close to 7500 new programmers.

Bitcoin, the first project of blockchain technology, follows in third place in the attraction of new developers in 2025, attracting nearly 7,500 new contributors each year. The number of active developers in it has reached 11,036.

Although its growth rate in terms of developers is lower than that of Ethereum and Solana, Bitcoin can still be regarded as an important ecosystem whose developers continue to show interest in enhancing its underlying protocol and introducing additional tools to support it.

This dynamic of developer growth underscores Ethereum as the blockchain technology at the forefront of innovation in 2025 due to its established and broad ecosystem, as Solana carries on with its blistering growth. Bitcoin has secured a strong position in the cryptocurrency market, supported by a dedicated base of developers.

While the art he created when he was still working was pop at the time, and later classified as traditional pop, there is no such list for the latter format in America, and so his throwback projects and cuts appear on jazz lists instead. It’s on those charts where Sinatra rebounds this week, and one of his popular projects returns not to one, but two tallies at the same time, helping him increase the total amount of real estate he owns at the moment. That set rebounds to No. 15 on the Traditional Jazz Albums chart and comes in at No. 20 on the all-encompassing Jazz Albums ranking after not appearing on either roster just last frame. The World We Knew’s All-Time Highs The World We Knew returns close to its all-time peak on both of those rosters. Sinatra’s classic has peaked at No. 11 on the Traditional Jazz Albums chart, just missing out on becoming another top 10 for the crooner. The set climbed all the way to No. 15 on the Jazz Albums tally and has now spent just under two months on the rosters.
