If you have been paying to pop culture at all this summer, you can probably understand why this is happening. Here’s the list, based on Google Search trends: 15) Glinda 14) Toothless 13) Nurse (Silent Hill) 12) Nightwing 11) Hamilton 10) Lorax 9) Elphaba 8) Derpy (KPop Demon Hunters) 7) Labubu 6) Chicken Jockey (Minecraft) 5) Baby Saja (KPop Demon Hunters) 4) Jinu (KPop Demon Hunters) 3) Mira (KPop Demon Hunters) 2) Zoey (KPop Demon Hunters) 1) Rumi (KPop Demon Hunters) Yes, that’s right, six of the top 10 are from KPop Demon Hunters, Netflix’s ultra-megahit that became its most popular movie all time by a hundred million viewers or so. This list not only includes the HUNTR/X girls (and I guess we can see the ranking order of who is the most popular there), but also two members of the Saja Boys, indicating that this is not only going to be girls dressing up from the movie. I didn’t even remember who Derpy was in the movie, and that’s…the big magic cat. Amazing. The catch here is that there are only three Netflix-official costumes, and those are for the three HUNTR/X girls, so the Saja Boys and Derpy are on their own in terms of assembling a costume to resemble those characters (I’d go with the demon Saja versions, myself). KPop Demon Hunters

Spirit Halloween

We are two weeks away from Halloween, and while some people plan costumes months in advance, others scramble at the last minute. What’s everyone wearing? Well, we have some actual data on that front, and the list is dominated by one movie in particular, KPop Demon Hunters, for which costumes are extremely hard to come by. If you have been paying to pop culture at all this summer, you can probably understand why this is happening. Here’s the list, based on Google Search trends:

15) Glinda

14) Toothless

13) Nurse (Silent Hill)

12) Nightwing

11) Hamilton

10) Lorax

9) Elphaba

8) Derpy (KPop Demon Hunters)

7) Labubu

6) Chicken Jockey (Minecraft)

5) Baby Saja (KPop Demon Hunters)

4) Jinu (KPop Demon Hunters)

3) Mira (KPop Demon Hunters)

2) Zoey (KPop Demon Hunters)

1) Rumi (KPop Demon Hunters)

Yes, that’s right, six of the top 10 are from KPop Demon Hunters, Netflix’s ultra-megahit that became its most popular movie all time by a hundred million viewers or so.

The problem, however, is that by the time you’re reading this, it seems almost impossible to get the official Netflix KPop Demon Hunters HUNTR/X costumes at Spirit Halloween for either adults or children. They were added in October and they already seem to be totally wiped out online, and you may have to attempt to go store by local store, calling them individually, to see if you could possibly track them down. The official website doesn’t have them at all, only a flat image talking about heading to a physical store. You could get lucky, but it may take a lot of hunting.

But I have at least some level of good news here.

There is one place where it appears you can get KPop Demon Hunters costumes, at least for kids, in time for Halloween. That is from the talented folks at Etsy, who are making (admittedly unlicensed) versions of HUNTR/X costumes with the occasional Saja Boy. You can find that list of items here, and you can filter by ones that are still able to be delivered by Halloween. That said, I would certainly have a backup plan in mind, lest you rely on a very, very late delivery that doesn’t come for one reason or another. Many of these are shipping internationally. There is also a non-zero chance of scams here, so tread carefully, and make sure it’s from a well-established seller.

I have no doubt that there will be a lot of homemade KPop Demon Hunters costumes as well, either professional cosplay level or mom making it for a daughter level. Whatever the case, just know that you will be surrounded by other Demon Hunters and Demons from the movie this Halloween season.

Economic policies are chasing investors away from US – Mercer

The post Economic policies are chasing investors away from US – Mercer appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. A wave of clients are shifting away from U.S. assets as investors react to President Donald Trump’s trade and interest-rate agenda, according to Mercer LLC. The consulting firm says concern over tariffs, pressure on the Federal Reserve, a swelling budget deficit and the risk of a softer dollar are pushing money to Europe, Japan and other markets. Hooman Kaveh, Mercer’s global chief investment officer, said a rising share of the firm’s 3,900 clients, together overseeing about $17 trillion, are reducing U.S. exposure. The opening weeks in the early phase of Trump’s second term “has been a trigger for genuine diversification,” he noted in an interview this week. “We’re certainly seeing that in client portfolios where flows are toward diversifying markets, geographies, asset classes, currencies.” Market nerves were evident in early April after Trump’s “Liberation Day” announcement, when both U.S. stocks and Treasuries fell before rebounding. Even so, U.S. shares have trailed many overseas benchmarks in 2025 for dollar-based investors. Kaveh said investors are struggling to price the tariff path because the effects can cut two ways: either squeeze company margins or get passed through to consumers and lift inflation. “If you have a situation where tariffs are going to push prices up, and the weaker dollar potentially can increase inflation, that would cause the Fed much more of a challenge to cut rates,” he added. As mentione in a Bloomberg report, he called the White House’s preference for a weaker dollar “the Achilles heel to the current approach” since it can magnify the inflation impulse from tariffs. Where the money is going Trump’s repeated criticism of Chair Jerome Powell, saying he has been slow to lower borrowing costs, along with the president’s move to fire Governor Lisa Cook, is further encouraging clients to step back from the U.S., according to…
