WisdomTree Expands Crypto ETPs with Low-Fee Stellar Lumens Product

TLDR

  • WisdomTree has launched the first physically-backed Stellar Lumens ETP in Europe.
  • The Stellar ETP is now listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and Euronext Paris and Amsterdam.
  • The ETP will launch on Germany’s Xetra exchange on October 15.
  • The product offers the lowest management fee in Europe for a Stellar-backed ETP at 0.50%.
  • WisdomTree now manages over $ 2 billion across 11 physically backed crypto ETPs.

WisdomTree has introduced a physically-backed Stellar Lumens (XLM) ETP across key European exchanges. The product now trades on the Swiss SIX, Euronext Paris, and Amsterdam, with a launch on Germany’s Xetra scheduled for October 15. This development marks the first physically-backed Stellar Lumens ETP available to institutional investors in Europe.

Stellar Lumens Now Part of WisdomTree’s Growing Crypto Lineup

WisdomTree expanded its digital asset offerings by adding Stellar Lumens to its suite of crypto ETPs. The firm confirmed that this ETP has a management fee of 0.50%, the lowest for a Stellar-backed product in Europe. With this launch, WisdomTree now offers exposure to Stellar alongside Bitcoin and Ether.

Stellar has become known for enabling fast, cross-border payments and tokenized asset issuance through regulated financial institutions. It supports over 69 financial institutions in more than 170 countries. This aligns with WisdomTree’s objective to offer compliant digital assets through regulated investment channels.

The company emphasized the product’s design for institutional-grade security and transparency. “Stellar is one of the most established blockchains,” said Dovile Silenskyte, director of digital assets research at WisdomTree. She added that Lumens play a key role in facilitating low-cost, cross-currency payments within the Stellar network.

WisdomTree Leads in Crypto ETP Growth and Asset Inflows

In 2024 and 2025, WisdomTree led the European market in crypto ETP inflows. CEO Alexis Marinof stated, “We support clients with innovative, differentiated solutions backed by security and transparency.” The company has gained more than $6 billion in net inflows year-to-date across Europe.

WisdomTree currently manages over $2 billion in physically-backed crypto ETPs—these span 11 digital assets, covering both individual coins and diversified baskets. The launch of Stellar strengthens its position as a leader in institutional-grade crypto exposure.

The firm’s global asset management footprint now exceeds $140 billion. In Europe alone, its ETF and ETP offerings have surpassed $50 billion in assets under management. This growth also includes the success of its Europe Defense UCITS ETF, which now holds over $4 billion in assets.

Market Activity and Technical Insight Around Stellar Lumens

Stellar has drawn renewed attention as analysts observe patterns resembling its 2017 price behavior. A leading analyst stated, “Same structure, different cycle. Market psychology and price behavior often repeat.” This suggests a technical alignment with previous market trends.

However, Stellar’s market performance has faced short-term pressure. It has declined 17.52% over the past 30 days and 6% in the past 24 hours. Over the past week, XLM has dropped by 20.3%, trading at around $0.3239.

Still, WisdomTree’s timing reflects a strategic approach to meeting institutional demand, despite recent price movements. Its offering aims to provide long-term exposure to Stellar’s infrastructure role in global payments.

Shocking OpenVPP Partnership Claim Draws Urgent Scrutiny

The post Shocking OpenVPP Partnership Claim Draws Urgent Scrutiny appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The cryptocurrency world is buzzing with a recent controversy surrounding a bold OpenVPP partnership claim. This week, OpenVPP (OVPP) announced what it presented as a significant collaboration with the U.S. government in the innovative field of energy tokenization. However, this claim quickly drew the sharp eye of on-chain analyst ZachXBT, who highlighted a swift and official rebuttal that has sent ripples through the digital asset community. What Sparked the OpenVPP Partnership Claim Controversy? The core of the issue revolves around OpenVPP’s assertion of a U.S. government partnership. This kind of collaboration would typically be a monumental endorsement for any private cryptocurrency project, especially given the current regulatory climate. Such a partnership could signify a new era of mainstream adoption and legitimacy for energy tokenization initiatives. OpenVPP initially claimed cooperation with the U.S. government. This alleged partnership was said to be in the domain of energy tokenization. The announcement generated considerable interest and discussion online. ZachXBT, known for his diligent on-chain investigations, was quick to flag the development. He brought attention to the fact that U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Commissioner Hester Peirce had directly addressed the OpenVPP partnership claim. Her response, delivered within hours, was unequivocal and starkly contradicted OpenVPP’s narrative. How Did Regulatory Authorities Respond to the OpenVPP Partnership Claim? Commissioner Hester Peirce’s statement was a crucial turning point in this unfolding story. She clearly stated that the SEC, as an agency, does not engage in partnerships with private cryptocurrency projects. This response effectively dismantled the credibility of OpenVPP’s initial announcement regarding their supposed government collaboration. Peirce’s swift clarification underscores a fundamental principle of regulatory bodies: maintaining impartiality and avoiding endorsements of private entities. Her statement serves as a vital reminder to the crypto community about the official stance of government agencies concerning private ventures. Moreover, ZachXBT’s analysis…

Fed Decides On Interest Rates Today—Here’s What To Watch For

The post Fed Decides On Interest Rates Today—Here’s What To Watch For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Topline The Federal Reserve on Wednesday will conclude a two-day policymaking meeting and release a decision on whether to lower interest rates—following months of pressure and criticism from President Donald Trump—and potentially signal whether additional cuts are on the way. President Donald Trump has urged the central bank to “CUT INTEREST RATES, NOW, AND BIGGER” than they might plan to. Getty Images Key Facts The central bank is poised to cut interest rates by at least a quarter-point, down from the 4.25% to 4.5% range where they have been held since December to between 4% and 4.25%, as Wall Street has placed 100% odds of a rate cut, according to CME’s FedWatch, with higher odds (94%) on a quarter-point cut than a half-point (6%) reduction. Fed governors Christopher Waller and Michelle Bowman, both Trump appointees, voted in July for a quarter-point reduction to rates, and they may dissent again in favor of a large cut alongside Stephen Miran, Trump’s Council of Economic Advisers’ chair, who was sworn in at the meeting’s start on Tuesday. It’s unclear whether other policymakers, including Kansas City Fed President Jeffrey Schmid and St. Louis Fed President Alberto Musalem, will favor larger cuts or opt for no reduction. Fed Chair Jerome Powell said in his Jackson Hole, Wyoming, address last month the central bank would likely consider a looser monetary policy, noting the “shifting balance of risks” on the U.S. economy “may warrant adjusting our policy stance.” David Mericle, an economist for Goldman Sachs, wrote in a note the “key question” for the Fed’s meeting is whether policymakers signal “this is likely the first in a series of consecutive cuts” as the central bank is anticipated to “acknowledge the softening in the labor market,” though they may not “nod to an October cut.” Mericle said he…
