PETALING JAYA: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) said it has yet to decide on candidates to field at the impending state election, dismissing a list of potential contenders making the rounds on social media.
GPS spokesman Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said the list of names had not been endorsed by the ruling coalition, Dayak Daily reported.
He said the list had caused confusion among party leadership and supporters.
“GPS has expressed its appreciation to these postings which it considers as signs of support for GPS,” he was quoted as saying.
Sarawak must hold its state polls by April 2027.
