KUALA LUMPUR: National women’s lawn bowler Emma Firyana Saroji is now ranked world No 1 with 787 points in the women’s world ranking of the World Bowls Series.
Australia’s Jamie-lee Worsnop is ranked second with 709 points, followed by Hong Kong’s Cheryl Chan (694 points).
Emma Firyana won the women’s singles World Cup crown in Bukit Kiara in November last year. The 39-year-old is set to lead Malaysia’s charge at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, from July 23-Aug 2.
