The Philippines fell 10 places to 86th out of 120 countries in the Energy Transition Index (ETI) 2026 published by the World Economic Forum. The country scored 52.3 out of the highest possible score of 100, below the global average of 57.3. The index assesses the performance of countries’ energy systems and their readiness to transition to secure, sustainable, equitable, and affordable energy.
