KUALA LUMPUR, June 17 — Sunway Tiny Toys will release Proton Saga MC3 in Ruby Red and Proton e.MAS 5 in Marble Cream starting this Saturday, 20 June, according to a post on its social media pages.

The two models will be released as part of its Cerita Malaysia Kita collection, which focuses on Malaysia-themed iconic vehicles and sceneries.

Under the 1/64 scale series, the collection so far has featured the Mercedes-Benz pink-white Bas Mini Wilayah and yellow Bas Sekolah. These models are manufactured through a partnership with Toyeast Limited, the Hong Kong-based company behind the world-renowned Tiny miniature models.

Other Malaysian-themed vehicles that have been released under the Cerita Malaysia Kita collection include the 1/120 scale KTM Class 25 EMD GT18LC-2 diesel electric locomotive and the 1/50 scale Mini Cooper MK1 Sunway Theme Parks edition.

The Saga MC3 model will be available in Ruby Red (designated as model 003 in the collection) and Marine Blue (004). Both of them feature movable front doors and engine hood, which allow you to check out the Saga MC3’s interiors and the i-GT engine.

As for e.MAS 5 models, details have not yet been revealed, but we expect it to feature several movable parts too. However, we were told that they will be made available in Marble Cream and Quartz Rose.

Given the highly detailed nature of these Sunway Tiny Toys models, they cost more than your usual Hot Wheels models. While Sunway Tiny Toys has yet to announce the official pricing for these upcoming Proton die-cast models, early information that we received from our visit to its store at Sunway Lagoon indicates that they will likely cost RM78 per piece.

We were told that this is the standard price tag for the Sunway Tiny Toys’ 1/64 models. For those who are interested in pre-ordering your unit, you can write down your name in the pre-order list at the Sunway Tiny Toys store that is located at Sunway Lagoon’s main entrance. — SoyaCincau

Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC

The post Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson has weighed in on whether the Federal Reserve should make a 25 basis points (bps) Fed rate cut or 50 bps cut. This comes ahead of the Fed decision today at today’s FOMC meeting, with the market pricing in a 25 bps cut. Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are currently trading flat ahead of the rate cut decision. Franklin Templeton CEO Weighs In On Potential FOMC Decision In a CNBC interview, Jenny Johnson said that she expects the Fed to make a 25 bps cut today instead of a 50 bps cut. She acknowledged the jobs data, which suggested that the labor market is weakening. However, she noted that this data is backward-looking, indicating that it doesn’t show the current state of the economy. She alluded to the wage growth, which she remarked is an indication of a robust labor market. She added that retail sales are up and that consumers are still spending, despite inflation being sticky at 3%, which makes a case for why the FOMC should opt against a 50-basis-point Fed rate cut. In line with this, the Franklin Templeton CEO said that she would go with a 25 bps rate cut if she were Jerome Powell. She remarked that the Fed still has the October and December FOMC meetings to make further cuts if the incoming data warrants it. Johnson also asserted that the data show a robust economy. However, she noted that there can’t be an argument for no Fed rate cut since Powell already signaled at Jackson Hole that they were likely to lower interest rates at this meeting due to concerns over a weakening labor market. Notably, her comment comes as experts argue for both sides on why the Fed should make a 25 bps cut or…
