Solana Foundation President Lily Liu: Solana will become the infrastructure of Internet finance, aiming to surpass the performance of traditional finance

PANews reported on October 23rd that at the 2025 Shanghai International Blockchain Week and the 11th Global Blockchain Summit, Solana Foundation President Lily Liu stated that Solana's vision is to become the "technical foundation for internet finance," integrating all asset classes and use cases to promote the "tokenization of everything" and the "marketization of everything." She noted that the Solana ecosystem is rapidly developing with a trinity structure encompassing network, application, and asset layers. The first quarter of 2025 saw significant growth, with daily usage exceeding two to three times that of all other public chains combined.

Lily Liu stated that Solana's current TPS has exceeded 1,000, approaching the level of traditional financial networks like Visa and NASDAQ, with transaction fees as low as $0.0005, demonstrating industry-leading performance. By 2024, the Solana ecosystem will have attracted 7,500 developers, generated $3.3 billion in application revenue, and raised $8.9 billion in funding. She emphasized that Solana hopes to deepen its collaboration with Chinese-speaking developers in payment, Decentralized Payment (DPIN), and AI, striving to become a next-generation global financial infrastructure. She positioned Solana as "the future of Solana to finance what Netflix is to entertainment and Amazon is to e-commerce."
