The SERAPH token is the native utility and governance token of the Seraph ecosystem, a blockchain-based action role-playing game (ARPG). The Token Generation Event (TGE) occurred on January 6, 2025, coinciding with the launch of the game's Genesis Season 1. The total supply of SERAPH is capped at 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) tokens.

The issuance is designed to integrate directly with the game's economy, where tokens are introduced into circulation through various in-game activities and reward systems. For instance, during Season 1, tokens were distributed via specific events, such as a special event from January 29 to February 5, 2025, which awarded 2 million SERAPH to players based on their NFT equipment and in-game actions.

Usage and Incentive Mechanism

The SERAPH token serves as the primary medium for unlocking advanced game features and facilitating economic participation. Key utilities include:

• In-Game Crafting and Enhancement: Players use SERAPH to reforge chaotic affixes for NFT equipment each season and to reveal the attributes of NFT equipment obtained through drops.
• Access and Participation: Tokens are required to unlock access to specific dungeons, mint dungeon keys, and "burn" maps. Minting keys allows players to farm "Soul Spars" even without owning NFT equipment.
• Exclusive Opportunities: Holding or using tokens provides access to unique events, such as "Soul Spar" and "Equipment of Seraph" NFT drops.
• Governance: Future utility includes engaging in community governance activities to shape the game's development.
• Incentives: Tokens are distributed as rewards for ladder rankings, contributions to Chaos Dungeons, and participation in the "Secret Prison."

Locking and Unlocking Mechanism

To ensure long-term sustainability and prevent market oversaturation, Seraph has implemented a structured vesting schedule for its major stakeholders:

• Core Contributors (Team): This allocation is subject to a one-year cliff, followed by linear monthly vesting over three years.
• Advisors: This group is subject to a six-month cliff, followed by linear monthly vesting over three and a half years.
• Investors: Similar to the team, investors face a one-year cliff, followed by linear monthly vesting over three years.
• Community and Incentives: These are generally distributed dynamically based on in-game performance and seasonal prize pools. For example, Season 2 featured a prize pool of 6.1 million SERAPH.

As of March 31, 2025, the circulating supply was approximately 203 million tokens, representing roughly 20.3% of the total supply, with a circulating market cap of $34.8 million at a price of $0.17 per token.
