Common Withdrawal Issues and How to Resolve Them

1. What if I withdraw to the wrong address?

If your withdrawal is still in one of the following statuses, Pending Verification, Under Review, or Pending Processing, you can cancel it on the Funding History page (under the Withdrawal tab) and reinitiate the withdrawal using the correct address.

  • Web: On the MEXC homepage, go to Wallets Funding History→ click on the Withdrawal tab, and cancel the request there.
  • App: On the MEXC App homepage, tap your profile icon →select Transactions Deposits/Withdrawals →tapthe Withdrawal tab, and cancel the request there.

However, if you've already confirmed the withdrawal via email or SMS, the request will automatically be submitted to the blockchain and cannot be canceled. Due to the anonymous nature of blockchain addresses, MEXC cannot retrieve funds sent to the wrong address. If this happens, you'll need to try contacting the owner of the receiving address through other means to negotiate the return of your assets.

2. Withdrawal Successful But Not Received

Once your withdrawal is completed, if your account is linked to an email address, you will receive a confirmation email. You can also view the confirmation via your notifications:

  • Web: Click the dialog icon at the top right of the homepage (top left for MENA users) to view your notifications.
  • App: Tap the dialog icon at the top right of the homepage (top left for MENA users) to view your notifications.

If your withdrawal from MEXC to another platform has not arrived, but the transaction shows as confirmed on the blockchain, you can copy the withdrawal TxID and contact the receiving platform's customer service team for assistance.

For instructions on how to locate your TxID, please refer to: How to Find TxIDs on MEXC.

Alternatively, you may also contact MEXC Customer Service for help retrieving the relevant TxID and associated transaction information.

3. Withdrawal Returned by Receiving Platform

If a withdrawal to another platform is returned to your MEXC wallet, manual processing is required to credit the assets back to your account. Please follow the steps below:

  • Web: Go to the MEXC homepage → scroll down and click Help CenterUncredited Deposit Return Application → select Withdrawal from MEXC to another platform was returned, then follow the instructions to complete the form.
  • App: Open the MEXC App (homepage) → go to More → swipe to the bottom and tap Help CenterUncredited Deposit Return Application → select Withdrawal from MEXC to another platform was returned, then follow the instructions to complete the form.

Manual credit processing will be completed within 1-3 business days. Please wait patiently after submitting your application.

Note: The amount returned may be different from the original withdrawal amount due to fees deducted by the receiving platform.

4. What to do if I forgot to enter the Memo or entered the wrong Memo?

If you realize that you forgot to include the Memo (or entered it wrong) before confirming the withdrawal via SMS or email, you can cancel the withdrawal on the Funding History page (under Withdrawal) and resubmit it with the correct address and Memo.

  • Web: From the MEXC homepage, click Wallets on the top navigation bar → select Funding History → click on the Withdrawal tab, and cancel the request there.
  • App:On the MEXC App homepage, tap your profile icon at the top → select TransactionsDeposits/Withdrawals →tap the Withdrawal tab, and cancel the request there.

If you discover that you forgot to fill in or entered the wrong Memo after confirming the withdrawal via SMS or email, you can copy the withdrawal TxID and contact the receiving platform's customer service team to inquire about retrieving your funds.

For instructions on how to locate your TxID, please refer to: How to Find TxIDs on MEXC.

Alternatively, you may also contact MEXC Customer Service for help retrieving the relevant TxID and associated transaction information.

5. What to do if my withdrawal doesn't arrive?

If the withdrawal status is Processing, the delay may be due to the nature of the blockchain network or potential network congestion. Please be patient while the withdrawal is being confirmed.

If the status shows Withdrawal Successful but the funds have not arrived after a period of time, please be patient and wait until the transaction has reached the required number of confirmations on the blockchain as specified by the receiving platform. You may also copy the TxID from MEXC and contact the recipient platform's customer service team for further assistance.

If your withdrawal request has been pending for over 6 hours without a TxID being generated, please contact MEXC Customer Service immediately and provide a screenshot of the withdrawal request. We will assist in resolving the issue.

For more details on withdrawal statuses, please refer to Withdrawal Not Received.

6. Token Activation

Due to differences in blockchain network mechanisms, certain tokens on specific mainnets require the recipient wallet address to be activated before a transfer can be successfully completed. If the token has not been activated in the wallet, the transfer may fail.

When you initiate a token withdrawal from MEXC, the system will automatically detect whether the destination address has been activated for that token. If not, you will receive a corresponding prompt during the withdrawal process.

You can also manually verify whether your token address is activated by checking it on the relevant blockchain explorer.
