MEXC is our top EasiCoin alternative within this comparison: Hacken audits its reserves every month, and its BTCUSDT perpetual costs 0% maker and 0.02% taker against EasiCoin's flat 0.05% on both sides.
EasiCoin refunds copy-trading profit share after losing weeks and charges only network gas on withdrawals, and MEXC does not serve residents of the US or UK.
Key Takeaways
MEXC is our top EasiCoin alternative here: Hacken audits its reserves monthly, and the 10 September 2026 snapshot put BTC coverage at 297% and USDT at 119%.
EasiCoin's homepage promises full 1:1 reserves and regular audits, but we found no named auditor, no downloadable report and no proof-of-reserves article in its help center.
EasiCoin charges a flat 0.05% to makers and takers on futures, while MEXC's BTCUSDT contract costs 0% maker and 0.02% taker.
On $20,000 of futures trades a month, 70% filled as taker, fees come to $2.80 on MEXC's BTCUSDT contract and $10.00 on EasiCoin.
On regulator records the two sides differ: our scan found nothing naming EasiCoin, and MEXC is the subject of a Seychelles FSA enforcement notice from May 2026 and a Dubai VARA fines notice from June 2026.
MEXC's API futures schedule, 0.06% maker and 0.08% taker, is higher than EasiCoin's published flat 0.05%, so bot traders should compare the two directly.
EasiCoin's homepage tells users that it covers every asset with full 1:1 reserves and conducts regular audits.
A reserve promise is only as useful as the report behind it: who checked the wallets, on what date, and whether you can confirm that your own balance was counted.
Below, we hold EasiCoin's disclosures to that test, then line up six exchanges on fees and reserve evidence that anyone can verify.
MEXC is our top EasiCoin alternative because it backs its reserve claim with a monthly report audited by Hacken and charges less than EasiCoin on BTCUSDT futures.
The 10 September 2026 snapshot put BTC coverage at 297%, and BTCUSDT perpetuals cost 0% maker against EasiCoin's 0.05%.
If the 1:1 promise is part of why you chose EasiCoin, ask the same of any replacement: can you read its latest report and find your own balance in it?
MEXC publishes a reserve snapshot every month and has each one audited by Hacken, whose September review covered proof of liabilities, proof of wallet ownership and the reserve calculation.
A Merkle tree lets each user confirm that their own balance was included without seeing anyone else's.
In the 10 September 2026 snapshot, 12,202.13 BTC in reserves covered 4,106.57 BTC of user holdings, a 297% ratio, with USDT at 119% and both USDC and ETH at 111%.
The fee side is just as easy to check, since the MEXC fee page lists BTCUSDT perpetuals at 0% maker and 0.02% taker, and ETHUSDT at 0% and 0.01%. Take a trader who turns over $20,000 in futures each month, with seven of every ten dollars filled as taker orders: on MEXC's BTCUSDT contract, the monthly fee bill is $2.80.
The same month on EasiCoin costs $10.00, because its flat 0.05% applies to both sides of the book, so the gap reaches $86.40 a year.
OKX, Gate, Bybit, Bitget and KuCoin fall between $7.90 and $9.60 at their entry tiers.
The edge narrows away from BTCUSDT and ETHUSDT, because the fee page header runs to 0.040% maker and 0.100% taker on other contracts, where EasiCoin's flat 0.05% taker can be the lower rate.
Seven platforms appear below, EasiCoin first, compared on what a futures trader checks before moving money: fees on both books, coin coverage, reserve evidence and identity rules.
Rows for the five large exchanges reuse figures from our September 2026 comparisons, and the note under the table gives every retrieval date.
Platform | Spot fees (entry tier) | Futures fees (entry tier) | CoinGecko-tracked coins | Proof of reserves | Identity verification | Best for |

KuCoin | 0.1% maker, 0.1% taker (Class A tokens) | 0.02% maker, 0.06% taker | 889 | Reserve data tracked by CoinGecko | Required | Built-in trading bots |
Gate | 0.100% maker, 0.100% taker | 0.015% to 0.02% maker, 0.05% taker | 1,534 | Proof-of-reserves page, per Gate | Required | Listing breadth and MiCA access in the EU |
EasiCoin data verified on 5 October 2026 against its homepage and help center; MEXC fees from MEXC's official fee page as recorded on 10 September 2026, its reserve figures from the September 2026 report audited by Hacken, and its CoinGecko data from 5 October 2026; figures for Bybit, OKX, Bitget, KuCoin and Gate were recorded from each platform's official fee schedule, help center and terms in our September 2026 comparisons, with CoinGecko coin counts retrieved 18 to 21 September 2026 (Gate: 2 September 2026).
EasiCoin promises full 1:1 reserves and regular audits on its homepage, but we could not find what normally backs such a promise: a named auditor, a report you can download, or a way to check your own balance.
Its help center index, which lists every documentation page, has no article on proof of reserves.
A useful reserve report answers four questions: which assets it covers, the snapshot date, who reviewed it, and how a user can confirm their balance was included.
MEXC's September 2026 report answers all four, covering BTC, USDT, USDC and ETH at a 10 September snapshot, with Hacken as auditor and a Merkle-tree check for users.
On EasiCoin's side, the homepage claim names no auditor, and we found no report to download.
The gap is specific to reserves, because the same help center sets out fees, copy-trading rules and a FinCEN registration in detail.
Listings on third-party exchange directories describe EasiCoin's audits as bi-monthly, but we could not find that schedule, or any past report, on its own site.
We also found no EasiCoin exchange page on CoinGecko on 5 October 2026, so its reserves cannot be cross-checked there.
The same test works on any exchange: find the auditor's name and the snapshot date, then run the balance check with your own account.
Until a reserve claim passes that test, treat it as a statement of intent rather than evidence.
EasiCoin passes the third check, on disclosure and regulator records, since our scan found no notice naming it and the app stores name the company behind its app.
It falls short on the first two, with no CoinGecko exchange page to rate it and no reserve report we could find.
Check 1: the tracker rating.
CoinGecko's Trust Score, described in its published methodology, weighs liquidity alongside cybersecurity, incident history and reserve data. No CoinGecko exchange page for EasiCoin surfaced in our checks, which leaves no rating to compare.
For comparison, CoinGecko gave MEXC 9 out of 10 on 5 October 2026 and rated its liquidity Moderate.
Check 2: reserve evidence.
The section above covers what we could and could not find behind EasiCoin's 1:1 promise.
For MEXC, the monthly Hacken-audited report sits alongside about $618 million in exchange reserves tracked by CoinGecko on 5 October 2026.
Check 3: disclosure and regulator records.
The App Store and Google Play both list Easicoin Fintech Limited as the developer of the EasiCoin app, and the app's copyright line names EasiCoin Limited.
Its compliance page cites a FinCEN Money Services Business registration with an authorized date of 23 May 2025, which is a US federal filing rather than a licence that supervises trading or checks reserves.
We looked for EasiCoin in regulator warnings, in the Hong Kong SFC's Alert List and in Dubai VARA's notices on 5 October 2026, and none of them mentioned it.
On the MEXC side, the licence CoinGecko records is an international crypto licence from Comoros, whose framework the tracker calls defined but unproven.
Seychelles' Financial Services Authority identifies MX Global Ltd as the company running MEXC and says it lacks a licence under the country's 2024 Virtual Asset Service Providers Act; its May 2026 press release adds that enforcement measures are being initiated. In June 2026, Dubai's VARA issued a notice of fines against MX Global for offering virtual asset services in Dubai without a licence from 2022 to April 2026, and the notice records that the company cooperated fully and complied with cease-and-desist orders.
Bybit, OKX, Bitget, KuCoin and Gate all charge futures makers less than EasiCoin's 0.05% at their entry tiers, and each has reserve data you can look up.
Their trade-offs sit elsewhere: spot fees above MEXC's, and in Bitget's case a September 2026 security incident.
Benefits
Makers pay 0.0200% on perpetuals, less than half of EasiCoin's flat 0.05%.
Proof-of-reserves reports come out every month.
Options trade beside perpetuals in one unified account.
Limitations
Its 0.0550% perpetual taker rate is slightly above EasiCoin's 0.05%.
At the entry tier, spot trades cost 0.1000% on each side unless fees are paid in MNT.
Service for Japanese residents ended in 2026, and US residents are not served.
Benefits
Perpetuals cost 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker, matching EasiCoin on takers and undercutting it on makers.
Its 0.080% spot maker rate undercuts the 0.1% charged by Bybit, Bitget, KuCoin and Gate.
Its EU service runs under a MiCA licence.
Limitations
Its altcoin list is the shortest among the five large exchanges in the table.
Spot takers pay 0.100%, twice MEXC's 0.05%.
US customers are served by a separate entity, OKX US.
Benefits
Copy trading sits at the center of the platform.
BGB holders pay 0.08% on spot instead of 0.1%.
Its product range extends to stock futures.
Limitations
Bitget says its Protection Fund is covering the roughly $387.5 million taken from its hot and warm wallets on 24 September 2026, and it began restoring withdrawals in stages on 28 September. At the entry tier, a taker fill on its perpetuals costs 0.06%, more than on EasiCoin.
From 1 November 2026, Japanese residents can only close positions as Bitget leaves Japan.
Benefits
Long-tail altcoins are a strength, with 889 coins on CoinGecko's September 2026 count.
You can automate grid and DCA strategies without a third-party tool.
KCS holders get spot trades at 0.08%.
Limitations
Perpetual taker fills cost 0.06%, against EasiCoin's 0.05%.
Only Class A tokens get the 0.1% spot rate.
Residents of the United States cannot open accounts.
Benefits
No large exchange here lists more coins: CoinGecko counted 1,534 for Gate on 2 September 2026.
Perpetual takers pay 0.05%, the same as EasiCoin.
Its MiCA licence, issued through Malta per Gate, covers EU users.
Limitations
GT payment brings its spot rate from 0.100% down to just 0.090%.
Reaching 0% on spot makers takes VIP 15 status.
Sources disagree on its perpetual maker fee, which shows as 0.015% in some and 0.02% in others.
EasiCoin gets several things right, especially for copy traders and for anyone who withdraws often.
Its fee schedule applies one flat rate to every user with no tiers, and its help center sets out copy-trading and withdrawal costs in plain numbers.
Each lead trader sets a profit share between 0% and 30%, with 10% as the default, and EasiCoin refunds the share when a weekly settlement ends in a loss.
Its homepage lists more than 1,450 lead traders, and its App Store listing describes copy strategies built on on-chain signal analysis.
Withdrawals carry no platform fee, only network gas, which its guide puts at about 1 USDT on Arbitrum or BNB Chain.
A 0.05% futures taker rate matches OKX and Gate at the entry tier and sits below Bybit, Bitget and KuCoin.
It also offers stock and gold futures beside crypto, plus a demo mode for practice.
If you rely on the loss-week refund, check how the destination's copy-trading terms treat a losing week before you switch.
Three steps get your balance off EasiCoin: settle every open or copied position, test the route with a small withdrawal, then send the remainder.
EasiCoin charges only network gas, so the chain sets the cost, from about 1 USDT on Arbitrum to about 10 USDT on Ethereum, per its own estimates.
Step 1: Settle positions and stop copying.
Close open orders and futures positions, and stop following lead traders, because EasiCoin carries profit share into the next weekly cycle while copied positions stay open.
Avoid changing security settings just before you withdraw, since EasiCoin's help center says certain account-security changes trigger a temporary hold on withdrawals.
Step 2: Test the route.
Choose a network that both platforms support, then make a small trial withdrawal to the address shown on the receiving side, including any memo it requires.
Step 3: Finish the transfer.
When the trial amount lands, withdraw the balance and save each transaction hash for your tax records.
This section is MEXC speaking about its own platform, so weigh it as a first-party view rather than an independent one.
EasiCoin's flat fees, loss-week refund on copy trading and gas-only withdrawals are genuine strengths, and the Seychelles and Dubai notices against us belong in any fair comparison.
Our case rests on evidence you can check: a monthly reserve report audited by Hacken, a public fee page with 0% maker on BTCUSDT, and a 9 out of 10 CoinGecko score on 5 October 2026.
Readers who need a locally licensed platform in the US, the UK or the EU should look elsewhere.
API bot traders should also compare costs carefully, because our API futures rates of 0.06% maker and 0.08% taker are higher than EasiCoin's flat 0.05%.
Choose MEXC if you trade BTC or ETH perpetuals with limit orders and want a monthly, audited reserve report you can check against your own balance.
Traders who prize derivatives depth or a licence in their region should look at OKX and Bybit, copy traders at Bitget, bot users at KuCoin and long-tail hunters at Gate.
Stay with EasiCoin if its loss-week refund on copy trading matters more to you than reserve evidence, and size your balance there to the evidence it offers.
Whichever platform you choose, open its proof-of-reserves page and note the snapshot date before you deposit.
Readers in the US, the UK and Australia should treat this page as background reading and use a platform licensed in their own country.
MEXC has no MiCA authorization for the EU and EEA, and its Dutch users must complete offboarding by 31 October 2026, ahead of final account closure on 16 November 2026.
What is the best EasiCoin alternative?
Within this comparison our top pick is MEXC, which pairs monthly Hacken-audited reserve reports with 0% maker fees on BTCUSDT perpetuals.
Is EasiCoin safe?
We found no regulator notice naming EasiCoin, but also no CoinGecko rating and no reserve report behind its 1:1 promise.
MEXC publishes audited reserves and scores 9 out of 10 on CoinGecko, and it carries Seychelles FSA and Dubai VARA notices.
Does EasiCoin publish proof of reserves?
Its homepage promises 1:1 reserves and regular audits, yet we found no named auditor, no downloadable report and no proof-of-reserves article in its help center.
Who operates EasiCoin?
Both app stores list Easicoin Fintech Limited as the app's developer, and the app's copyright line names EasiCoin Limited.
EasiCoin also cites a FinCEN Money Services Business registration, which is not an exchange licence.
What leverage does EasiCoin offer?
EasiCoin's homepage advertises up to 200x across crypto, metals and stock futures, with per-pair limits shown only inside the platform.
Does EasiCoin require KYC?
Yes, its homepage tells users to complete registration and KYC before trading, and its privacy statement lists ID documents and selfies among the data collected.
On MEXC, verification runs in three levels, named Primary, Advanced and Institutional.
How do I withdraw from EasiCoin before switching?
Settle open and copied positions, then make a small trial withdrawal on a network that both EasiCoin and the new exchange support, such as Arbitrum or TRON.
Deposit addresses, networks and memo requirements for each coin are listed in your MEXC account.
Perpetual futures and leverage amplify both gains and losses, and positions can be liquidated for the full margin amount.
At 500x, a move of roughly 0.2% against a position can trigger liquidation, so high tiers suit only experienced traders with strict risk controls.
This article is informational for readers in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, where the platforms discussed may not be available or authorised.
In the EU and EEA, MEXC is not authorized under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA).
The Dutch regulator AFM has placed MEXC on its register of non-compliant entities, which ESMA republishes, and readers in those regions should factor this status into any decision.
In a May 26, 2026 press release, the Seychelles Financial Services Authority said the company it identifies as operating the MEXC platform does not hold a licence under its Virtual Asset Service Providers Act, 2024, that it is initiating enforcement measures, and that the public should exercise caution when dealing with the platform.
In a June 22, 2026 notice of fines, Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority said the entity operating as MEXC had served customers in Dubai without a licence from 2022 to April 2026 and onboarded users without meeting UAE know-your-customer requirements, and that it cooperated, complied with cease-and-desist orders and intends to seek a licence.
Nothing here is investment advice, and fees, leverage tiers, and availability change, so confirm current terms on each platform's official pages before trading.
