MEXC Will Support the Axol (AXOL) Contract Swap

To safeguard user interests, MEXC proactively reached out to the Axol (AXOL) project team upon identifying that a new contract had been deployed. Snapshot was captured on March 29 without prior coordination with the exchange. Following discussions, MEXC has coordinated with the AXOL team to support the contract swap with the following arrangements:
  • Deposits and withdrawals of AXOL have been closed.
  • AXOL trading will be halted at 03:00 (UTC) on May 22, 2025.
  • For users holding AXOL at the snapshot time (03:00 UTC, March 29, 2025), MEXC will execute a 1:1 token swap based on their AXOL snapshot balance.
  • For users who purchased AXOL between the snapshot time and the trading suspension, MEXC will conduct the swap at a ratio of 1 (old) : 0.0111628 (new) based on their net purchases (buying minus selling).
  • The token ticker (AXOL) will remain unchanged after the swap.
Important Notes:
  • MEXC will not process token swaps for AXOL deposited after the closure of deposits.
  • AXOL deposited after the snapshot will be labeled as AXOLOLD on MEXC. MEXC does not support deposits and trading of AXOLOLD. Users may withdraw them at their discretion after the swap.
  • MEXC will handle all technical requirements for users who hold AXOL tokens in their MEXC accounts.
  • During the contract swap, tokens on the old contract will temporarily exist as AXOLOLD. After the swap is completed, AXOLOLD will be replaced with new AXOL tokens for eligible users.
  • Deposits of old AXOL tokens will no longer be supported. Please verify before depositing to prevent asset losses.
  • A follow-up announcement will be published upon completion of the contract swap.
