Stolen Asset Handling Process

If your crypto assets have been stolen, defrauded, or transferred to MEXC by someone else through illegal means, you may file a report to MEXC through the following process:
  1. You must complete KYC verification on MEXC or provide proof of identity.
  2. You must provide supporting documents that are sufficient to prove that the reported address/account is associated with your crypto assets, including but not limited to: screenshots of your digital wallet/account transfer history, transaction ID, transfer address, and a detailed text description of the case.
  3. MEXC will temporarily freeze the relevant assets or accounts if the supporting documents submitted by you are genuine and sufficient.
  4. You must provide proof of police acceptance of the case within 48 hours of submitting the supporting documents. If you fail to provide the appropriate proof, MEXC will unfreeze the frozen assets or accounts as appropriate.
You must ensure that the information you provide to MEXC is true and legal, otherwise you will bear the corresponding responsibility and consequences arising from it.
If a law enforcement officer requires assistance from MEXC, he/she may submit a mutual legal assistance (MLA) request via the following method:

Please note that when submitting an MLA request, you need to provide the identification of the law enforcement officers associated with the case together with a legally valid MLA. The MLA must clearly state the information to be inquired about or other matters with which you need assistance.
