Project Highlights

VirtuSwap is an innovative DEX addressing a large and neglected market segment - trading in assets with limited liquidity (i.e. outside the top 5). Limited or absent of direct liquidity between traded assets results in costly indirect trades (i.e. trade is routed via 3rd assets), as a result of which a trader suffers double trading fees, price impact and gas fees. Indirect trade composes over 20% of people's trade activity over the past year.

VirtuSwap is dedicated to bringing innovation to the DeFi ecosystem at large and making DEX trading as efficient as CEX trading. There are two key components to VirtuSwap DEX. The first is a new pool architecture allowing reserve-based, direct trading among any two assets regardless of the presence of a corresponding liquidity pool. The second is the "Minerva engine" -- an AI-based optimizer of economic incentives to pool to maximize the benefits of the protocol participants (liquidity providers and traders).

A combination of both elements results in up to 50% lower trading costs; while enabling up to 400% more returns to liquidity providers.
