President Donald Trump said Washington was talking with Tehran to end the war, but the attacks continued.
The attacks hit key infrastructure, including missile storage, air defense systems, and intelligence offices. Iran reported partial damage to gas facilities in central Isfahan, and a projectile struck near Khorramshahr’s gas pipeline.
The Israeli army said it targeted 50 sites, including IRGC and Ministry of Intelligence locations. Press TV confirmed that a prominent professor, Saeed Shamaghdari, and his two children were killed in Tehran, underlining rising civilian casualties.
Civilian Toll and Regional Reactions
Iran’s emergency service reported that 208 children have died since the war began on February 28. Rights groups are calling for an investigation into the Minab school attack, which killed 168 children.
More than 1,500 civilians have died across the country. Saudi Arabia has said Iran’s missile capabilities should be reduced, but civilian infrastructure must be protected. “We are neighbors and want a peaceful neighborhood,” a regional official said.
Israel also struck Hezbollah positions in Beirut, hitting bridges connecting southern Lebanon. In southern Israel, missile fragments injured four people, including two infants, highlighting the conflict’s regional spillover.
