- Danhausen received a nice pop from his native Chicago crowd, but he seemed to confuse by the end of his intro. After Danhausen’s eccentric presentation, a light chorus of boos rained down. “What the hell was that?” asked Michael Cole, who is set to become an unwilling part of Danhausen’s act.
During the February 16, 2026 broadcast of WWE Raw, a mysterious crate was delivered to eternally flummoxed General Manager Adam Pearce. The crate came with specific instructions to not open the item until February 28, 2026.
After weeks of ping-ponging between Raw and SmackDown, all signs pointed to the reveal being played for laughs. Speculation of “who’s in the box?” ranged from Britt Baker to Chris Jericho, but after whispers that Jericho was still stranded on Khantanamo Bay, Chicago’s own Danhausen emerged as the odds-on-favorite.
Danhausen is a comedy character who endears himself to every territory he curses through a mix of absurdity and dry humor. Danhausen shined in AEW before an injury plagued end to his tenure, where his contract recently expired.
The crate reveal puts an end to one of many WWE mysteries this WrestleMania season. Still, several remain.
Who Is The Hooded Masked Man?
The hooded masked man struck again last night on SmackDown, and it was a dud. By design. A hooded figure has stalked the Vision from town-to-town, foiling all its plans, and when he is finally revealed, he turned out to be a complete unknown. Some simple Twitter research, however, reveals this individual’s real-life identity is Donovan Izzolena (Don Furio.) Izzolena is a student of the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy.

Who Attacked Jacob Fatu And Jey Uso?
Jacob Fatu was attacked by a mystery assailant backstage on the October 17, 2025 broadcast of SmackDown. Since his return, Fatu has assumed that the attacker was Drew McIntyre, though McIntyre has maintained his innocence. McIntyre did a poor job playing innocent when he cost Fatu an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match against Logan Paul.
During a backstage segment opposite Sami Zayn, Fatu once again said he believed McIntyre was the person who kicked his teeth down his throat. Sami and Fatu’s exchange was tense after Zayn implied Fatu took out Jey Uso so he could take his spot in the Chamber. Zayn threw a temper tantrum after the two made up. Top babyface Cody Rhodes is more than cautious around Zayn, who will suffer through yet another WrestleMania season with no world titles to his name.

Who Will Answer Brock Lesnar’s Open Challenge?
Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE Raw was mostly much ado about nothing. Lesnar did not say a word, and Paul Heyman stretched a 30-second promo into five minutes like only he could. Fan sentiment is leaning heavily toward Oba Femi, whom fans chanted for the second Heyman’s challenge left his mouth.
Dave Meltzer suggested LA Knight was planned as Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania opponent, but Meltzer has a terrible history with facts. Meltzer has a notorious record of erroneous reporting, and his intimation that LA Knight will be Brock Lesnar suggests this will not be the direction. If it is, it would be the exception that proves the rule.
