Vista Ridge Dental has established itself as a trusted provider in the Fort Worth community by maintaining a patient-centered approach that combines decades of experience with modern innovation. The clinic, which opened in 1993, focuses on delivering exceptional dentistry through education, comfort, and long-term oral health strategies that prioritize patient relationships over transactional care.

The practice utilizes advanced dental technology to ensure precise diagnoses and efficient treatments, allowing patients to benefit from modern techniques while experiencing reduced discomfort. This technological integration supports the clinic’s comprehensive service offerings, which include cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, crown and bridgework, dentures and partials, general dentistry, preventive dentistry, and teeth grinding relief. The full-service approach enables continuous care that supports both immediate treatment needs and long-term oral health maintenance.

Education serves as a cornerstone of the practice, with the dental team emphasizing clear communication and customized treatment plans that empower patients to make informed decisions about their dental health. This educational focus extends beyond individual appointments, creating partnerships between patients and providers that support ongoing wellness. The practice’s commitment to community engagement is reflected through service at the Dental Health Arlington Clinic, demonstrating how dental practices can contribute to broader public health initiatives.

Clinical leadership includes John Avila, DDS, who brings both academic credentials and professional experience to the practice. Dr. Avila earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and completed his dental training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. His involvement in professional dental organizations helps maintain the practice’s connection to evolving standards and techniques within the field.

The clinic’s emphasis on building lasting relationships through trust and integrity represents a significant departure from more transactional healthcare models. By combining technological advancement with compassionate care, Vista Ridge Dental demonstrates how dental practices can maintain personalized attention while utilizing modern treatment methods. This balanced approach addresses both the clinical and emotional aspects of dental care, potentially reducing patient anxiety while improving treatment adherence and outcomes.

Patients receive individualized attention from a team that values long-term relationships, with treatment plans designed to support both immediate needs and future oral health. The practice’s location in Fort Worth allows it to serve the broader community while maintaining the personalized approach characteristic of smaller practices. This combination of comprehensive services and patient-focused care illustrates how dental practices can evolve while maintaining their core commitment to patient wellbeing.

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

The post Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. In this week’s edition of InnovationRx, we look at possible pain treatments from cannabis, risks of new vaccine restrictions, virtual clinical trials at the Mayo Clinic, GSK’s $30 billion U.S. manufacturing commitment, and more. To get it in your inbox, subscribe here. Despite their addictive nature, opioids continue to be a major treatment for pain due to a lack of effective alternatives. In an effort to boost new drugs, the FDA released new guidelines for non-opioid painkillers last week. But making these drugs hasn’t been easy. Vertex Pharmaceuticals received FDA approval for its non-opioid Journavx in January, then abandoned a next generation drug after a failed clinical trial earlier this summer. Acadia similarly abandoned a promising candidate after a failed trial in 2022. One possible basis for non-opioids might be cannabis. Earlier this year, researchers at Washington University at St. Louis and Stanford published a study showing that a cannabis-derived compound successfully eased pain in mice with minimal side effects. Munich-based pharmaceutical company Vertanical is perhaps the furthest along in this quest. It is developing a cannabinoid-based extract to treat chronic pain it hopes will soon become an approved medicine, first in the European Union and eventually in the United States. The drug, currently called Ver-01, packs enough low levels of cannabinoids (including THC) to relieve pain, but not so much that patients get high. Founder Clemens Fischer, a 50-year-old medical doctor and serial pharmaceutical and supplement entrepreneur, hopes it will become the first cannabis-based painkiller prescribed by physicians and covered by insurance. Fischer founded Vertanical, with his business partner Madlena Hohlefelder, in 2017, and has invested more than $250 million of his own money in it. With a cannabis cultivation site and drug manufacturing plant in Denmark, Vertanical has successfully passed phase III clinical trials in Germany and expects…
