The UFC Qatar fight card takes place today, Saturday, November 22, from ABHA Arena in Doha, Qatar. The UFC Fight Night event is the final fight card on the promotion’s schedule for November. The next UFC card on the schedule is UFC 323, a pay-per-view on December 6. We look at the lineup for the UFC Qatar event and provide you with all the details you need to watch and stream the card, which has an earlier start time than most UFC events.
Today’s UFC Qatar fight card features a pivotal lightweight matchup in the main event contest. In that scrap, the No. 1 ranked Arman Tsarukyan faces the No. 6 ranked Dan Hooker. The winner of the contest stands a good chance to move on to a title fight against UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria, who won the vacant 155-pound crown in June with a knockout victory over Charles Oliveira at UFC 317.
Tsarukyan (22-3) is on a four-fight winning streak. He was booked to face Islam Makhachev at UFC 311 in a fight for Makhachev’s lightweight belt, but Tsarukyan pulled out of the contest before weigh-ins. His most recent win was a April 2024 split-decision victory over Oliveira at UFC 300 in April 2024. Tsarukyan weighed in at 156 for his matchup opposite Hooker.
Hooker (24-12) is on a three-fight winning streak heading into Saturday’s event. He is coming off an August 2024 split-decision triumph over Mateusz Gamrot. Hooker was booked to face former UFC lightweight interim champ Justin Gaethje at UFC 313 in March of this year, but he withdrew from that contest with a hand injury.
