Market Strategist: A Shocking Reprising Is Coming for XRP and HBAR. Here’s the Signal

The crypto market is moving in ways that have less to do with on-chain fundamentals and more to do with global politics.

Levi Rietveld, creator of Crypto Crusaders, published a video this week identifying a specific set of conditions he believes will trigger a significant repricing for XRP and HBAR.

His analysis points to a convergence of geopolitical friction, oil prices, and unusual stock market behavior as the key drivers. At the time of his post, XRP was down over 5% on the day. HBAR was down over 4%. Bitcoin also fell several percentage points. Rietveld tied these moves directly to stalled negotiations between the USA and Iran.

“The negotiations between the USA and Iran are stalling, and there is zero progress on their peace deal,” he said. The war in Iran has significantly impacted the market since it started, and elevated oil prices have kept the market in a risk-off posture, with crypto absorbing much of that pressure.

Capital Is Rotating Away From Crypto

What makes the current environment unusual is the disconnect between crypto and equities. The S&P 500 has hit new all-time highs for 10 consecutive weeks. Historically, that kind of equity strength tends to lift crypto alongside it. That has not happened this time.

Rietveld explained why. Investors are chasing S&P gains and pulling capital out of crypto to do it. “A lot of people right now are rotating their capital out of crypto to trace all of these green candles that we’re seeing inside of the S&P 500,” he said. The result is a market where stocks climb, and crypto sits flat or declines, despite conditions that would normally benefit both.

Will XRP and HBAR Keep Struggling?

Rietveld believes that this rotation is temporary. Stock market gains of this scale are not sustainable indefinitely. When the cycle reverses, capital will move back into crypto. The assets best positioned to absorb that inflow stand to reprice significantly.

XRP is central to that thesis. Its utility in cross-border payments and its ongoing institutional adoption give it structural relevance beyond speculative trading. When capital re-enters the crypto market, assets with defined use cases and established networks tend to attract the largest inflows. XRP fits that profile.

HBAR also appeared in Rietveld’s analysis as a beneficiary of the expected repricing, given its enterprise-focused infrastructure and real-world integrations. The opportunity is in positioning before the repricing event happens. “That is going to be a massive repricing event for the top cryptos, which are positioned to take advantage of this particular situation,” he said.
