Arkham, a cryptocurrency analysis and monitoring platform, has published a comprehensive study on the individuals, organizations, and wallets that will own the most Bitcoin as of 2026.

According to the report, when different wallets are grouped under a single asset, Bitcoin’s anonymous founder Satoshi Nakamoto is by far the largest BTC holder.

According to Arkham’s tagging system, which is based on a mining pattern known as the “Patoshi Pattern,” Satoshi controls approximately 1.096 million BTC. At current prices, this amount is worth approximately $75 billion. Research indicates that these assets were obtained from mining rewards of approximately 22,000 blocks.

Looking at individual wallets, the largest address stands out as a cold wallet belonging to the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, with approximately 250,000 BTC.

The top four spots are again occupied by cold wallets belonging to major cryptocurrency exchanges. Fifth place goes to a wallet containing assets seized after the 2016 hack and controlled by US authorities; while sixth place is occupied by the address managing Bitcoin reserves of stablecoin issuer Tether.

Bitcoin’s rise to approximately $126,000 in October 2025 and its total market capitalization peaking at $2.48 trillion has led to the emergence of numerous new Bitcoin billionaires.

Because Bitcoin is a decentralized digital asset, the entire network does not have a single owner. However, the individuals or organizations that control the private keys are considered the owners of the respective BTC assets.

In the organization-based ranking, Coinbase is in second place with approximately 993,000 BTC. It is followed by:

  • BlackRock (ETF issuer) – 761,000 BTC
  • Binance – 661,000 BTC
  • Fidelity Investments (custody service) – 448,000 BTC
  • Strategy – 415,000 BTC on-chain (total amount controlled: 714,000 BTC)

In the category of states, the US Government is the largest holder of Bitcoin. Including assets seized as a result of operations against various criminal organizations, the US holds approximately 328,000 BTC.

Other government entities that can be verified on-chain include:

  • United Kingdom – 61,000 BTC
  • El Salvador – 7,500 BTC
  • UAE Royal Group (Citadel Mining) – 6,800 BTC
  • Royal Government of Bhutan (Druk Holdings) – 5,600 BTC
  • Russian Government – 1,000 BTC

Arkham notes that more governments may own Bitcoin, but these haven’t yet been verified on-chain.

The report also states that there are numerous unnamed billion-dollar Bitcoin wallets, most of which have remained inactive for a long time after their initial entry. This indicates that a significant portion of the circulating supply has not joined the active market.

Whales Dump 200 Million XRP in Just 2 Weeks – Is XRP’s Price on the Verge of Collapse?

Whales Dump 200 Million XRP in Just 2 Weeks – Is XRP’s Price on the Verge of Collapse?

Whales offload 200 million XRP leaving market uncertainty behind. XRP faces potential collapse as whales drive major price shifts. Is XRP’s future in danger after massive sell-off by whales? XRP’s price has been under intense pressure recently as whales reportedly offloaded a staggering 200 million XRP over the past two weeks. This massive sell-off has raised alarms across the cryptocurrency community, as many wonder if the market is on the brink of collapse or just undergoing a temporary correction. According to crypto analyst Ali (@ali_charts), this surge in whale activity correlates directly with the price fluctuations seen in the past few weeks. XRP experienced a sharp spike in late July and early August, but the price quickly reversed as whales began to sell their holdings in large quantities. The increased volume during this period highlights the intensity of the sell-off, leaving many traders to question the future of XRP’s value. Can XRP Recover or Is a Bigger Decline Ahead? As the market absorbs the effects of the whale offload, technical indicators suggest that XRP may be facing a period of consolidation. The Relative Strength Index (RSI), currently sitting at 53.05, signals a neutral market stance, indicating that XRP could move in either direction. This leaves traders uncertain whether the XRP will break above its current resistance levels or continue to fall as more whales sell off their holdings. Source: Tradingview Additionally, the Bollinger Bands, suggest that XRP is nearing the upper limits of its range. This often points to a potential slowdown or pullback in price, further raising concerns about the future direction of the XRP. With the price currently around $3.02, many are questioning whether XRP can regain its footing or if it will continue to decline. The Aftermath of Whale Activity: Is XRP’s Future in Danger? Despite the large sell-off, XRP is not yet showing signs of total collapse. However, the market remains fragile, and the price is likely to remain volatile in the coming days. With whales continuing to influence price movements, many investors are watching closely to see if this trend will reverse or intensify. The coming weeks will be critical for determining whether XRP can stabilize or face further declines. The combination of whale offloading and technical indicators suggest that XRP’s price is at a crossroads. Traders and investors alike are waiting for clear signals to determine if the XRP will bounce back or continue its downward trajectory.
