NASHVILLE, Tenn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Tennessee Flight Training announced it has been recognized as a Distinguished Flight School in the national 2026 Flight Training Experience Awards, given by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).

The Flight Training Experience Awards were created to highlight the best flight training the industry has to offer. “This year customers highlighted an optimal combination of well-run training programs and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This year’s winners have demonstrated this enviable quality in their flight training operations to the highest degree,” said AOPA Foundation Sr. Director Flight Training Education Chris Moser.

“We’re honored to be named a Distinguished Flight School,” said Chris Erlanson, president of Tennessee Flight Training. “This recognition reflects what we work toward every day—an exceptional training experience built on top-tier instruction, a strong aviation community, and a student-first approach. I’d like to thank our incredible staff and our student pilots who took the time to share their experiences. Their hard work, trust, and passion for aviation inspire us daily!”

The 2026 awards were drawn from flight students and pilots who voluntarily reviewed their flight training experience this past fall through an AOPA online customer feedback process. Learn more at www.aopa.org/FTawards
